Stop drilling in my sinuses? How do I know it’s a little man? Because a big man wouldn’t fit. And the drilling? Well that’s what it feels like.

In other news, I still can’t find my brand of Tampons in the store. Yes I’m a bloody mess, just deal with it. Today I needed something. Last time I got Kotex, in the black box with the multicolored applicator’s. I give them 0 stars. I will not be using anymore, I do not recommend them. When I was cleaning things recently I scrounged around and managed to find two tampons of the brand I prefer. However I did have to get some more. Its either find another brand I like, or start using pads. *shudder* Today I was getting confused by all the boxes, so I just bought the Target brand. I would say I’ll keep you posted, but I’m not sure that’s what you want.

Em is also sick today, she thinks she has a fever. She didn’t feel warm to me, but then what do I know?

Thursday is opening day, can’t wait!!!

Last night as I was sitting in bed and looking at my laptop, I came to a decision. As much as I have committed to posting every day, my health is more important. Since I can never just come online and type my blog post and then leave, when I am feeling tired and head-achy and generally not well, I am not posting. Sorry WordPress. I am going to try to make sure the number is kept up. A feat that will be much more difficult once baseball starts this Thursday since I will then be blogging about the games on my other blog. But I am still going to make the effort. I anticipate these blog posts will become much shorter.

Today

Yesterday, I did not turn on my computer at all. After the meeting, Em and I went to Danbury, she is looking for navy blue capris to wear to Manhattan. She didn’t find any. We did find these cool bags at Eddie Bauer though. Em’s is blue and mine is burgundy. It has bunches of pockets and stuff to carry things. Saturday we went to Macy’s cause Em saw that they were having an online Lancôme sale. Well, they were also having it at the store, so she got makeup and I got eyeliner and we got 2 free gifts. I am not wearing the eye shadow today, because I overslept and didn’t have time. Tomorrow I will have to try harder.

I am so disgusted, I am wearing a top that I used to look cute in, and now I look fat in it. I suppose I should have waited to wear it, but for some reason I just put it on cause I was wearing my black pants. I looked in the mirror at work and went yuk! More incentive to stay on track until I lose the weight.

Well, I was eating well today, then I started to eat my popcorn and I had a really bad tummy ache. Then I had to go to the bathroom. I managed to get all the way home before the really bad stuff came out, then I took my imodium and got in bed. Then Gwen called me for dinner, so I put my nightgown and robe on, went upstairs and had a hamburger, comfort food. And got grease on my nightgown and robe. So when I came back downstairs I put them both in the hamper. Now I am just sitting on my bed wrapped up in my soft fleece blankets. I wish there was a way I could lie down and type.

Yesterday I was wearing my Gap jeans. They are tight, but I was able to get them on.

Busy day ahead ‘sigh’

I have already done a lot today, for me that is, I ate breakfast, went to Lily’s, forgot to stop at the library and put a load of clothes in the washer, as soon as it is done, I am hanging it up and then making some eggs cause I am hungry again! Well it is 11:00 and cereal never stays with me long. I finished Blue Diary, finally! I have to write a review, I have a lot to say about it. I thought it was a very good book. I listened to a little bit of Mortal Fear on my computer, I will finish listening to it on my MP3 player. The last time I tried listening to a book, it expired and I never got it from the library to read it, I just lost interest in it. My weight is up from last week, but it may be down before I weigh in, since it is down from yesterday. I will just be so careful today, which will be hard since I am going to a barbecue today. I will just have to do my best. Em wants to go shopping so we will probably leave early. And I just found out I have hall cleaning, so I will have to do that after I hang up my clothes and eat.

Well, I had to spin my clothes out again. So I didn’t get to the hall. I also didn’t know what time the barbecue was. I found out, I hung my clothes up. I brought the dry clothes in my room and threw them on my bed, I will take care of them later. My GPS wouldn’t turn on when I left for the barbecue so I was driving down the street looking for the road her house is on and didn’t know if I had passed it or not, so I turned off and around, I finally got the GPS on and put the wrong street in! By this time, Em was texting me, “Are you lost?” If I don’t use my GPS for a long time, it won’t turn on when I need it. Since I know this, I should turn it on the day before I need it. But I never remember this. Anyway, Em and I left the barbecue early, we weren’t having a good time, the food was awful and not a very good variety, and nothing to do, just sit around and talk, Stitch was getting antsy with the people and Gwen was still not feeling well. So we went home, Em and I went to Allsport, then the mall. We got makeup and I got a skirt at, duh, can’t remember, it was $10 originally $40. Now it is 1:30 am so I should get to bed, but before I do, watched the new show on BBC America called Primeval. Had a scary centipede on it, about 8 feet long and poisonous.

Phone not working

Well, not really, I just have problems if I go online. I thought it might be because I now have 1,000 messages in my AOL inbox, but when I signed off and tried to send a text, the phone froze up so I had to take the battery out to use the phone, I couldn’t even turn it off. So now I am just killing time because I am so tired and I just want to go home.

It was raining so heavy this morning the backyard looked like the everglades. Except no gators.

When I got home, Tigger wanted to look at my phone to see what it was doing, of course, it didn’t make the lines across the touch screen when he was playing with it. No, couldn’t misbehave for beloved Tigger could it?

I am almost done with Murder in the Adirondacks. I have finished the account of the murder and trial and execution, now he is writing about how the novel “An American Tragedy” came about.

Got the score for the football game: Steelers 21, Bills 24

And Cookie sent me an e-mail, could it be Grace is taking a supplement and that is why she is losing so much weight? I mean, 25 pounds in 5 weeks. I keep forgetting to ask M about it. I am sure she would have an opinion. I told her about the Chipotle flavored olive oil, so of course she had me get some for her, then she put it in her oil mister thing so she could spray it on her popcorn. I didn’t try any, but I am sure it is delish.

Home today

Didn’t go to work today, just not up to it. It poured here, thunder, lightning and hail. Stitch had my car and couldn’t come home because of the storm.

When M got home yesterday, the house was clean enough to satisfy her. Today I have done two loads of laundry for her.

Gwen and I played Rummikub too. I need to go to Allsport, I can’t remember the last time I went. I might be back later.

I am home now, in my room and it is cold. I feel like lying down with my book, but I am afraid I will fall asleep, I really need to log my food in the WW points tracker. Speaking of WW, my weight this morning was 137.6, 2 more pounds lost. M grilled burgers for dinner. She also sliced some tomatoes from her garden, they were very red! At this rate, I might be below 135 in another month. I am calculating the total from when I recommitted which includes a gain one week. I will be happy if I am 135 by next month. Yeah, keep saying that, I might believe it.

Em’s epilator came today, she had to charge it before she could use. I don’t know if she has yet, I will let you know when she lets me know. I told her about the one I saw at Target and didn’t get and she said she had seen one and thought it would be too big to use on your face, even though it said you could use it on your face. I had thought that also of the one I saw at Target, the one I got is prettier too. When I brought the box out, Tigger wanted to know what it was, Em said, “It’s my present, my new toy.” I hope it works well for her, maybe Gwen will use it too.

Yesterday

the train let us off on the old platform. I don’t know why, track work probably. This is the second time this has happened, the other time I was able to sneak up on Stitch. The way M parks when she is waiting, she saw me coming. I also do not know why I didn’t write about this yesterday. Maybe because I was upset about Stitch not returning my car until late.

Today Stitch came to get me, he was a little late and it was raining. Oh well. Tomorrow and Thursday he will not have my car. Friday we go to Newburgh. I am going to the hair place tomorrow to see how much it will be to get my roots touched up.

Tigger came downstairs and as I was going in my room he mentioned that ‘we’ need more Reisen. We do huh? I went to Allsport. I was hoping I could be quick enough to get to Staples before they closed but I didn’t. So I went to Target. I bought that purse I was looking at and it just fits my stuff. Not the perfect purse of course, but close. Then I got some re-writable CDs and a case to put my CDs in, about time, considering Sassy was the one that broke my old one. I also got “honking” big bag of LaffyTaffy and a bag of Reisen. I don’t remember if that is the correct spelling right now I don’t care. I sent Tigger a text that I was at Target, I told him I got CDs and a case to put them in. He said why? I could almost see him thinking, we get downloads from Amazon cheaper, why would she buy CDs? Then I explained they were blank so I could put music on them for my car. I didn’t mention the candy. He didn’t ask, so I had to tell him I got two bags. Then when I was opening the bag to put them in the container, it broke and I ended up with LaffyTaffy all over my floor. As I was scooping them up, all I could smell was the fruitiness of them.

Now I really need to get to bed, I have brushed my teeth, washed my face, taken out my contacts, taken my medicine, I didn’t clean Butterscotch’s litter box. I will do that tomorrow. Since the rain cooled things down, it doesn’t smell so bad tonight. I have some Pepsi points to enter then I will go to bed.

Warm again

And I thought it was going to rain so I went to the store first then here to the park. Listening to Chicago XXX, really like it, don’t know how they keep doing it.

It is warm again today but not as hot as it has been but still humid. Wearing the red dress I got at Kohl’s. Saw some nice purses at Kohl’s online. Not really sure what I am going to do. Stitch drove me to the train station this a.m. Tigger is supposed to go out. I have decided not to return phone calls because I am tired of getting yelled at.

It is 8:37 p.m. and Stitch just got in with my car. I wanted to go to Target but now I don’t know. I asked Tigger to do something with my computer and he didn’t. He had an upsetting day I know. But, I can’t do it! So I am sitting here wondering if I should go up to Target or not, should ask Tigger to help me again, or just try to do it myself. I am totally undecided. I wish my room was cooler.

Because it is so hard to think when I am hot! Anyway, Tigger came downstairs, when I asked him why he said, Well, I need to fix your computer right? Then he says, I also want an album. He has graduated from songs to whole albums. So, I downloaded an album for him. All with Pepsi points. I also put the two Chicago albums I bought on Em’s MP3 player for her, and burned them to a CD so I could play them in my car.

Party for Bob

And I cut out early, head was starting to hurt, actually, it was hurting most of the day, I couldn’t get it to stop, so now I am home and my head no longer hurts. Hmmm. So M is at Pam’s and Stitch and Gwen are home with me. I was thinking about going to Target to look at that purse again, but I think I will look on-line. Maybe find a bargain on E-Bay or Amazon. I took a picture of my Crocs to post on the Yahoo group site.

Yesterday before M had to get D at the airport we went shopping. Couldn’t really do a lot though. Gwen wanted some white tank tops to wear under her shirts and she needed some new bras. She didn’t know the size though, so we couldn’t just pick them up, she had to come with us and try them on. She got a couple of nice ones at Kohls. I got a long slip to replace the one I can’t find. It will turn up now I am sure. I got beige so when it does, I will have a white one and a beige one. I also got a pretty cotton nightgown and a red dress. Not exactly suitable for meetings but I wore it to the party for Bob, it is high enough neckline and long enough, but the shoulders are too bare for the meetings. It’s a baby doll style dress. I like it because it has no waistline so you can’t tell that I don’t have one. Now I have to go check the WW thread and then I think I am going to take a nap or do some online shopping.

Hello again.

Gwen and I were in the park when I sent that. I wanted to say more, but she didn’t want to sit where we were anymore, so I just sent that short message.

Today I stayed home from work, not real sick, just had a crampy kind of stomach this morning and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to handle the morning commute. When I felt better I got up and walked to DD’s for breakfast. Tigger gave me the idea, he sent me a text saying he was at DD’s and had ‘saved’ three fishes. This was the first thing I saw when I came upstairs though, this cat being scratched by Stitch. He says Abigail has problems, but he’s the one that kept scratching her belly.

So I walked to DD’s. Then, since I didn’t feel like going home, I walked to the park, unfortunately it started raining. So when I got to the park, I went to Ron’s instead and called the house to have Stitch come get me. Fred answered the phone, and when I said “Have Stitch come get me its raining”, he said “OK” and hung up. I kept my phone out, in a little while, Gwen called to find out where I was so Stitch could come get me.

Gwen and I went to Dick’s for Crocs, she got a different pair than the picture I posted below. She was saying that the styles she likes are in ugly colors. I picked up a pair of dark blue with a light blue sole, and said, “This is a pretty color.” She tried them on and they fit, so I bought them for her and she put them on in the car. Then she stated she needed “Paint chips” to decide what color to paint her end table. Right now it has carousel horses and she wants it to look not so little girl. So we went to Lowes for paint colors, then we went to Target for garbage bags and candy for Tigger, we kind of promised him candy if he would take a picture of Sarah’s new lamp so we could match the color, then we couldn’t find the kind he likes. While at Target, we saw gift cards and decided to get one for Fred, who is having his moving up ceremony tonight. When we came home, a semi-truck was hung up on tracks and we couldn’t get in. Gwen suggested we park across the street, I didn’t think she meant we could park and walk across, I am pretty stupid sometimes, so we went to the park, parked in the picnic area because there was a bad smell in the parking lot and walked to Ron’s. Then I mentioned we could park across the street and walk home. Gwen said, yeah, that’s what I meant.

M asked Gwen and I to cash in coins for Fred’s Cold Stone Cake, we took them to Hannaford’s to use the coinstar machine there.

M, Gwen and I went to the moving up ceremony for Fred’s class, so many kids screamed when Fred’s name was called out, I couldn’t believe it. More than for Tigger. After the ceremony I took M and Fred to Vereens for Bible Study, Gwen came home with me, she had headache from being in the theater. After they got home we ate ice cream cake and watched a Spencer DVD.

Saturday

and last night I stayed up way to late. I woke up at 9:00, so no Bible Study. Gwen woke me up at 11:00. When I came upstairs, she wanted to go driving. So we went to where I could get coffee, then to get a bagel, then came back home and I let her drive to Ron’s. Then around the park, then I had her pull into the parking lot, into a space and I drove home. When we got home, she went inside and I stayed outside on the swing, just enjoying the air and the feel of the grass blades tickling the bottom of my feet, and she came back outside, which I didn’t want. Then to make things worse, she thumped on the seat and knocked my cup off onto the ground. When I asked her why she thumped on the seat she said, ‘I forgot it moves.’

We were just sitting there, I wasn’t enjoying myself as much, but it was alright. Chucky poked his head out of the foundation for the old shed, I was just about to get a nice picture, when Stitch came outside and scared him back inside. So this is the picture I got. You can kind of see him but it is not as good as the picture I would have got if he hadn’t moved. So then Stitch sat on the swing. Might as well, I had completely forgotten about whatever it was I was thinking about before Gwen came outside. Stitch asked about using my car to go to Bs for more tutoring. B is studying to get his GED. This is good practice for Stitch. He said they were going to work on fractions.

There are 3 kittens living under our deck. Wee little things. While we were on the swing we heard a noise in the strawberry/raspberry patch next to our deck. The kittens were playing in there. Gwen has named them, Sherbet is the lightest colored one, the other two are almost identical, so I suggested Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, Dee and Dum for short. Stitch and M liked those names better then the Socks and Stockings that Gwen had thought up for them. I managed to get this picture with my cell phone, then I cropped it on my computer. They look like mini Butterscotches, but of course they are not his kittens. He never goes outside and he can’t be a father cat if he did.

Stitch ended up taking my car since M and Fred got back from Ikea and M said she was going to the grocery store and I wanted to go with her. I needed to get cat litter though, so I told him not to be too late. Gwen wanted a new lamp, so I told Stitch be back between 5;30 and 6:00 pm. M and I had Lemon Drop Martinis, after which I went downstairs, Stitch came home, Gwen and I left for (in order) Petco, Lowes and Target. When we left, Tigger was sending text messages to M that he got stung by a wasp on his nose. Incidentally, Stitch didn’t get home by 6:00, not that I said anything since I had fallen asleep. When I got home, D was putting together what M had bought at Ikea and as I was eating dinner she asked me if I would take Tigger to Ron’s because of his bad day. So I did, but because this was my third trip to Ron’s, I didn’t get ice cream.
