>Almost didn’t make it

>I am still sticking to my goal of posting everyday. I kept forgetting today to send an e-mail to myself, I mean I sent the Salada tagline, but that’s not really a post. Also, I noticed that as soon as I mentioned the number of people reading my blog everyday, it dropped. SIGH

Today was kind of busy at work. People were bugging me about stuff all day, and I don’t think they even knew what they were talking about. I wish they would realize that I don’t really care and leave me alone.

Em was sending me E-mails all day, and Tigger started texting me when he got out of school, that is until he started doing his physics homework. He was asking Stitch to help him. And Stitch needs to do his paperwork for subbing so he can get a job and start paying for gas.

After work Em and I went to Allsport. I told her having Stitch take my car helps me work out, because I think, “Oh Em waited for me to get home before she went to work out so I have to go.”

My eyes are really bugging me and so I need to go put some drops in. Before I do that, I am going to put in some more taglines. And the Powerful Women’s Motto: “Live your life in such a manner that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says. ‘OH shit she’s awake!!'”

>Evening

>I went to church and then I went to the gym. I feel so much better now. Not so slug like. I also went to Target. I don’t know if I mentioned it here, but my head was itching whenever I used the Paul Mitchel hair products. So I gave the one I bought to Em and went to Target to get Aussie. I also got a pair of leather mittens and gloves. I don’t remember if I still have a pair from last year, so I just got another one. Now I am looking at the bag with my winter stuff in it and there are two pairs of gloves in there. A nice pair, and a worn pair. The worn pair is the warmer of the two gloves and it is the one I use when I pump gas in the winter. Although, since I now have the garden gloves in my car, I might just keep on using them.

I got the second dress from Chadwicks. I got it a while ago and just have not worn it. I hadn’t even gotten it out of the package until this morning. Since the other dress was tight around the arms, I was a little worried this dress wouldn’t fit. Well as you can see, it fits just fine. I am trying to look like a model in this picture. I better keep my day job!

These is one of the dresses I posted about on my old blog. I don’t know if I mentioned the other dress came in first and it fits o.k., but is a little tight around the arms. I don’t know if that will ease up as I lose more weight, it is not so tight that I can’t wear the dress.

>I was just going to tack this on to the other post but well, thought I should start another. After I posted this morning, I went to Allsport with Em. Well, first we went to lunch at Panera, then after Allsport we went to the mall. Her DVD player quit and so she was thinking about getting another one. We ended up both getting portable DVD players, Philips, they are pink for Susan Komen Breast Cancer. After we got home, I went to the library to return my books and decided to pick up some movies to watch on my new DVD player. I haven’t yet because Forensic Files was on and then Primeval. So now I am back on my computer and don’t really have time to watch a movie.

On another subject, one of my dresses came. If it fits, I am wearing it tomorrow for service and the meeting.

Not much left to say, I am going to check WW and then maybe watch something on BBC America’s website.

Busy day ahead ‘sigh’

I have already done a lot today, for me that is, I ate breakfast, went to Lily’s, forgot to stop at the library and put a load of clothes in the washer, as soon as it is done, I am hanging it up and then making some eggs cause I am hungry again! Well it is 11:00 and cereal never stays with me long. I finished Blue Diary, finally! I have to write a review, I have a lot to say about it. I thought it was a very good book. I listened to a little bit of Mortal Fear on my computer, I will finish listening to it on my MP3 player. The last time I tried listening to a book, it expired and I never got it from the library to read it, I just lost interest in it. My weight is up from last week, but it may be down before I weigh in, since it is down from yesterday. I will just be so careful today, which will be hard since I am going to a barbecue today. I will just have to do my best. Em wants to go shopping so we will probably leave early. And I just found out I have hall cleaning, so I will have to do that after I hang up my clothes and eat.

Well, I had to spin my clothes out again. So I didn’t get to the hall. I also didn’t know what time the barbecue was. I found out, I hung my clothes up. I brought the dry clothes in my room and threw them on my bed, I will take care of them later. My GPS wouldn’t turn on when I left for the barbecue so I was driving down the street looking for the road her house is on and didn’t know if I had passed it or not, so I turned off and around, I finally got the GPS on and put the wrong street in! By this time, Em was texting me, “Are you lost?” If I don’t use my GPS for a long time, it won’t turn on when I need it. Since I know this, I should turn it on the day before I need it. But I never remember this. Anyway, Em and I left the barbecue early, we weren’t having a good time, the food was awful and not a very good variety, and nothing to do, just sit around and talk, Stitch was getting antsy with the people and Gwen was still not feeling well. So we went home, Em and I went to Allsport, then the mall. We got makeup and I got a skirt at, duh, can’t remember, it was $10 originally $40. Now it is 1:30 am so I should get to bed, but before I do, watched the new show on BBC America called Primeval. Had a scary centipede on it, about 8 feet long and poisonous.

Home today

Didn’t go to work today, just not up to it. It poured here, thunder, lightning and hail. Stitch had my car and couldn’t come home because of the storm.

When M got home yesterday, the house was clean enough to satisfy her. Today I have done two loads of laundry for her.

Gwen and I played Rummikub too. I need to go to Allsport, I can’t remember the last time I went. I might be back later.

I am home now, in my room and it is cold. I feel like lying down with my book, but I am afraid I will fall asleep, I really need to log my food in the WW points tracker. Speaking of WW, my weight this morning was 137.6, 2 more pounds lost. M grilled burgers for dinner. She also sliced some tomatoes from her garden, they were very red! At this rate, I might be below 135 in another month. I am calculating the total from when I recommitted which includes a gain one week. I will be happy if I am 135 by next month. Yeah, keep saying that, I might believe it.

Em’s epilator came today, she had to charge it before she could use. I don’t know if she has yet, I will let you know when she lets me know. I told her about the one I saw at Target and didn’t get and she said she had seen one and thought it would be too big to use on your face, even though it said you could use it on your face. I had thought that also of the one I saw at Target, the one I got is prettier too. When I brought the box out, Tigger wanted to know what it was, Em said, “It’s my present, my new toy.” I hope it works well for her, maybe Gwen will use it too.

First day house sitting

The family all left at 8:00, well a little later than that. I keep saying I am house sitting, but is that really true if it is the house I live in? I think so, since I live in the basement and I will be staying upstairs. I have to leave in a little while. I should go to the gym but I really don’t feel like it. I probably should find Butterscotch and put him downstairs. But right now I don’t know where he is. Gwen told me the cats get along, but when I brought Butterscotch upstairs, Abigail hissed at him.

He even went in her basket, I hope she doesn’t poop in it when she smells his scent in there. I have no idea, I don’t know that much about cats. When he gets in her basket, I realize he is smaller then her. She totally fills up the basket and he doesn’t.

6:37 p.m.
Well, I am still sitting here, doing nothing, it is probably too late to walk to Ron’s or the park, or to Allsport. Except Allsport is open until 8:00 so I do have time to go there. Then I can go to Wendy’s for a Bacon Cheeseburger. The junior one is only 8 or 9 points.

Stitch called me to talk to Abby. I couldn’t get the phone to her because she was sitting on the windowsill. But she wouldn’t come off it. She just looked at me like I was crazy. So he called back and left a message for her. Then Tigger and M sent me text messages. I stopped answering Tigger because he annoyed me. He hasn’t sent me anymore text messages. He sent me this picture of the place they are staying.

Wondering about 25 or 6 to 4

It is a time, he is staying up all night trying to write a song. Now that I have that figured out, I can go on to other important things. Like what is a terrazzo floor? I mean, I know that is the type of floor in GCT, because they have signs up saying they are fixing it, but what is it? And, does the gnat know that if he sits on the edge of my papers I can’t kill him, or does he just like the way they feel on his little bug feet? Those are the kind of things I want to know.

I saw a woman walking down the street, she was wearing head to toe pink, not just any pink, that lovely shade known as Pepto-Bismol pink (shudder). She was crossing the street next to the park, and I am serious about the head to toe, she had top and a skirt and the skirt went to her ankles, all pink. And did I tell you someone is feeding a dog at the Peekskill train station? It’s true, I saw someone doing it one day, and just this morning I saw the bowls in the gap in the fence. If I get the 6:44 home, I will take a pic for you.

I did not catch the 4:44. I don’t know why I said 6:44 this morning. I had to move my key rings, I was running out of space where they were. Right now I need to eat something and go to Allsport and get a key copied and then I will be back.

Home now and I sprayed my hair with that color stuff and it smells funny. Since this is the last day of the month it is the day I throw away my contacts and put new ones in in the morning. Tomorrow is also the day I start with my new planner for writing my food. It seems like a great idea to me. We will see if it works. Well I will be back tomorrow.

Yesterday

the train let us off on the old platform. I don’t know why, track work probably. This is the second time this has happened, the other time I was able to sneak up on Stitch. The way M parks when she is waiting, she saw me coming. I also do not know why I didn’t write about this yesterday. Maybe because I was upset about Stitch not returning my car until late.

Today Stitch came to get me, he was a little late and it was raining. Oh well. Tomorrow and Thursday he will not have my car. Friday we go to Newburgh. I am going to the hair place tomorrow to see how much it will be to get my roots touched up.

Tigger came downstairs and as I was going in my room he mentioned that ‘we’ need more Reisen. We do huh? I went to Allsport. I was hoping I could be quick enough to get to Staples before they closed but I didn’t. So I went to Target. I bought that purse I was looking at and it just fits my stuff. Not the perfect purse of course, but close. Then I got some re-writable CDs and a case to put my CDs in, about time, considering Sassy was the one that broke my old one. I also got “honking” big bag of LaffyTaffy and a bag of Reisen. I don’t remember if that is the correct spelling right now I don’t care. I sent Tigger a text that I was at Target, I told him I got CDs and a case to put them in. He said why? I could almost see him thinking, we get downloads from Amazon cheaper, why would she buy CDs? Then I explained they were blank so I could put music on them for my car. I didn’t mention the candy. He didn’t ask, so I had to tell him I got two bags. Then when I was opening the bag to put them in the container, it broke and I ended up with LaffyTaffy all over my floor. As I was scooping them up, all I could smell was the fruitiness of them.

Now I really need to get to bed, I have brushed my teeth, washed my face, taken out my contacts, taken my medicine, I didn’t clean Butterscotch’s litter box. I will do that tomorrow. Since the rain cooled things down, it doesn’t smell so bad tonight. I have some Pepsi points to enter then I will go to bed.

Weather today

I really don’t know why I don’t blog on the weekend, but I don’t, I just jot everything down Monday then in the evening I reorganize and add stuff when I get online.

Friday night was the DCC concert, I didn’t go, I got a text from Tigger saying 9D was backed up so I went to Allsport instead. While M. Stitch, Tigger and Gwen were at the concert, D signed up for Netflix.

Saturday after bookstudy Gwen had a driving lesson, around the block in the development then I drove to riverside park and Gwen drove from the park to the train station, back to the park and to the train station again, she only almost hit a curb once. After that I went to Allsport. Then Sunday I took Tigger to get a bluetooth. He really likes it. I walked to Ron’s, halfway there I realized I had left my money at home, so I walked on to Main Street to get some from the bank. Netflix is great.

After a semi-gorgeous weekend it is cold, damp, gray & windy this a.m. I took a beating on the way in from the subway to my office. And it must have rained a lot somewhere because the hudson was overflowing its banks into the train parking lot. The same parking lot Gwen was practicing her driving in Saturday.

Idiots

I had a post all thought out then someone came by offering me candy & I completely forgot what I was going to say. My tummy is still minorly upset from the weekend, I also have a headache, it is gone now, I had some tea & 2 Aleve. My neck is tight, I think that is what caused the headache. Tonight I am planning on going to Allsport and doing a couple loads of laundry. I asked Tigger to make sure other laundry was done. He said ok, but didn’t sound very happy about it. Then again it is hard to know how someone is feeling when you are reading their text messages and not talking with them face to face.

I remember what I was going to say, that is was a gray day, but the sun was shining. Like when the doctor says you are healthy, but you still feel sick. Is it because it is the city and all I can see are buildings and cars and streets? Or is it because the window is dirty, and so I can see the sun, but it doesn’t make things bright. When I went outside, it was sunny and bright. Maybe I felt it was bright because I was leaving work early. Not much but enough to catch an earlier train.

The only laundry that was there when I got home had to come upstairs, so technically, it was done. I brought it upstairs, then after the gym I did my two loads. Now I have clean clothes to wear to Allsport and exercise and get all sweaty again.
