Well, I did it. I got back to the gym and the nautilus machines. I kept the weights the same and I am sore today. But it is a good sore. Besides, that’s what they make Aleve for. Not much else of note for the weekend. M.L.’s husband is still in the hospital, I am guessing since she has not been in contact with anyone all weekend.

I went to Target and got a pair of casual pants for kicking around, lightweight for summer. Have plenty of sweat pants, but I don’t want to wear them in July! I also got a French Terry Skirt, should be down to my knees. I got the pants in Medium and the skirt in small. I didn’t get any more work out clothes, there was nothing I liked on the clearance rack.

This morning I mailed my state taxes. I have no idea why I waited this long to do so, I don’t think I have ever waited this long to mail them. Well, there was the one year I didn’t mail them at all. That was the year I was only getting a dollar back and they won’t send it to you unless you ask for it. So I just blew it off. This year I am getting $13 back.

This morning I weighed 139.6 pounds. I am not posting that on WW. I have decided I have to lose 10 pounds before I go to Washington. Two months, its doable, I just have to DO IT.

Took a break, now back to Alan

I just finished “The Seduction of the Crimson Rose”. It is the 4th book in the “Pink Carnation” series. A take on the Scarlet Pimpernel, except the Pink Carnation is female. I have read the first three books so I took a break from Alan Banks to read it.

I just found out that the husband of one of the Booktalk ladies had to be rushed to the hospital. She was babysitting and when she got home she found him. I sent her an e-mail. I included some of the hummingbird pictures that I will post next. I hope she doesn’t think I am being frivolous, I thought looking at the pretty birds would help her mood.

M’s sisters, mother and nephew are leaving tomorrow. My chest is hurting now and I don’t know why. I used my inhaler and it hasn’t helped. I really want some of that ice cream cake upstairs.

Well, gotta go now.

Trouble posting

I sent WW an e-mail because I couldn’t post anything. I am sure others did too. In fact, I know M.L. did, she posted about it.

Herman sent me an e-mail, he said that even though I deleted my post, my name was still there. I kind of thought that might happen. I was hoping he wouldn’t look at his blog. He also sent e-mails to Selvin and Jean. He told Jean that he knows I think he’s annoying. Well, he would have to be very stupid not to have noticed that.

Tonight I was planning on going to work out. I didn’t get to Wednesday, but I don’t really want to go into the reason why. I will go tomorrow. All I want to do right now is go to sleep, but I know that is not a good idea.

My tummy is not happy, I mentioned it to Pam and she asked why, so I told her, “I mixed chocolate and beer last night.” I won’t be doing that again!

The comma key has started to stick, it sometimes takes two or three tries before it types.

My day today

Ok, I got the kids to college, turned out the reason they wanted to drive was to pick up a friend and that friend ended up not going, as DG said, we could have taken the bus! And I thought, and I could have stayed in bed!

Then I went to the post office and the auto store (needed new wipers) then to the gym (YAY), then home to take a bath and to the doctor’s (he said my exam was normal, not me, just the exam LOL!) then to the sewing machine repair place (YIKES $$$) and then I stopped at B&N on the way to pick up the kids from college! WHEW! Busy day!

Ok – I didn’t write my main objection – he wrote the rape from the raptist’s point of view, in great detail, making it very titilating which I found revolting. I think Ken Follet is deeply disturbed. I really do.
The graphic detail was unnecessary and detracted from the book.

What should I call this post?

Well, it is late and I really should be in bed. I went on WW but couldn’t think of anything to say. I need to go on Amazon to post a review of the book I just bought, but I don’t feel like it. I really have no idea what I wanted to post here, I just need to make long posts. I discussed this before.

I posted pictures of Abigail on Yahoo Booktalk and everyone thinks Abby is beautiful. One woman called Sassy a calico, humph. One who couldn’t open the Yahoo site I e-mailed the pics to, one of Abby and one of Sassy. She said Abby had beautiful markings and asked if Sassy was a torti. So some do know what is what. I also emailed the pictures to B___. She said Abby was pretty and that she remember Sassy, ‘she must be getting up there in years’. She is indeed. That reminds me of something I need to do before I go to bed.

I went to post a comment on my vacw’s website, but then I realized it would give him a link to this blog, so I deleted it.

So now I know

I have to type really long posts. Otherwise my lists overtake my posts and I have to increase the number of my posts.

Last night I took a picture of Butterscotch, he was sleeping on his side with his front paws crossed. I don’t know why I took it, I just felt compelled. I have also been putting food out for the little torti that looks just like Sassy. I know I shouldn’t. She is really sweet, except she is also pretty wild, she has gotten calmer after we took Abby in. When I get a better picture of Abby I will post it, along with crossed leg Butterscotch.

I posted to Exercise Police and 20 +/- to go today. I haven’t in a long time. I need to, I can’t just post to Booktalk and Friends.

Tonight at the meeting they voted to change the nights. They changed to Wednesday! Can you believe it? Well, until orchestra is over Stitch, Gwen and I will be going to WF because they can’t just drop it. Gwen is all upset about it, but she calmed herself in the car on the way home.

I just created this stupid web page. Check it out. I don’t know if there is a way to update it. Or delete it.

I don’t know what I really want to say today. I missed my bookstudy, went to Border’s then to the Library. I picked up two books I had on hold “On Chesil Beach” by Ian McEwan and If You Love Me, You Will Do My Will by Stephen Michaud and Hugh Aynesworth. I also went on the computer and posted some to WW website.

Tonight Stitch and I might go to a concert. He needs to go for a class he is taking but the roads might be icy. We will see. I have the address in my GPS so we will not have a problem finding it.

I just patched up my nails. You know I just dabbed nail polish in the spots where I picked it off.

Right now I am watching CSI, the original Las Vegas version. I like all of them except for the Miami one. Only because of Horatio. I can’t remember the actor’s name. Anyway, I am pretty bored just sitting here watching TV. I need to do something. I have no idea what since the polish on my nails has not set yet. I think I will check the WW board one more time then get some M&M’s to nibble on. Soon I will have to get ready to go to the concert. I wish I had a big enough purse to put a book in.

Today was roll call for the exercise police. A day for regular posters to introduce themselves.

Hi all. Finally got back. Here is my introduction, I copied FloZ and changed it to fit my life.

Name…Suzibellr, the Suzibell is what my maternal grandfather called me. R is for Rachel, my middle name, Suzibell was not available. In real life I am known as Suzanne or Rachel. The family I live with calls me Suzi. My ‘pop star’ name is Nikki Foxx.
Age: 39 or 45
Home:, Beacon, NY; 70 miles north of New York City on the majestic Hudson River in the Mid Hudson Valley, across said river from Newburgh.
Occupation: I am employed by the State of New York, I work in Queens, NY.
Family: No husband or children of my own. Had a dog once, a cat once, a hamster once. Currently living with my best friend and her family. It has been so long her children think I am related. Her children are 20, 18, 15 and 13, all have bi-polar disorder to varying degrees, 2 have aspergers syndrome, 1 is ADHD, 1 was diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder.
Pets and Hobbies: In the house I live in there are 2 cats, Butterscotch and Sassy, 2 parrots, Woodstock and Petie (was Peter until we got Woodstock and then Pete laid an egg, literally) 1 guinea pig named Katie. I love reading, gardening (except I am terrified of poison ivy), cross stitch, jewelry making, knitting and crocheting.
