No more internet

So the boss cracked down. He is mainly worried about how things look for the Division of Water and himself, if Albany cracks down on improper internet use. Bah! He doesn’t know that I can blog without going on my blog, I just have to send an e-mail, like I’m doing now!

However, I have not been able to check the WW thread since this morning. Or my e-mail, I did check Verizon to see how much the enV will be for Gwen. It is $80. I suppose I will have to pay for part of it. Well, not have to, I think I will offer half if she still wants it. She wants it so she can send text messages. Just a couple months ago, she told me she didn’t like text messaging. Well, I guess Tigger changed that for her.

I told M about the phone and how much and she is paying for it. So I ordered it. It will be here Friday, then I need to activate it and register it so the coverage is in effect. I am not ordering that nice of a phone and not insuring it.

Well, haven’t had dinner yet so I will go do that now. I am wearing the French Terry Skirt and it is as long as I thought it would be and comfortable.

New Kitty

Well, the kitty’s name is now Abby. She is really a nice cat. She stayed in all day yesterday and last night and seems perfectly content. She used the litter box M got for her. Stitch said she kept him up with her purring, then when she started to cry he petted her and Sassy hit him in the head. Tigger sent me a text when I was on the train that she almost woke D up. Then he says ‘not good’. It will be next.

I have been putting in Pepsi points. M has been giving them to me. She has been asking for the Rainbow song. Some group has redone, “Over the Rainbow” a group called The Hawaiian Rainbow Singers. Anyway, I downloaded it last night. She doesn’t have an MP3 player right now, so I put it on her phone for her. It sounds better on her phone than mine. Anyway, I think that is all I have to say for now. Except I am mad at the Booktalk posters.

Hi Y’all

Well, I am back, I had a very stressful day yesterday, with a collector calling and having to borrow money from my dad. I had gotten him and Mom a little booklet about the year 1954. Now I don’t think I will mail it. It seems kind of lame. And I still haven’t gotten a card for Karen and Carole. It is too late now. I will just have to write them.

I finished Atonement, of course you can see that by my list at left. I now have to decide what book to read next. I have to check the website. I have two books that I am reading, this will be a book to read on the train.

Coming home, I fell asleep, dropped my book, then when I got and was trying to gather my stuff I dropped my cell phone and it slid under the seat in front of me. I almost had to crawl on my hands and knees to get it.

Tre now has my number

Tigger said he prefers texting to Tre because I am boring. Everyone in the family agreed with him. D said people who haven’t met me don’t think I’m boring, I sent Tigger a text that said “Drill bit is my new name.” I guess that is why Tigger asked Tre if I am boring. Tre says how can I know, I don’t know her. So Tigger gives him my phone number. Then he sends me a text, “Hi Im Tre.” So I show it to M. She sends Tre a text message, he sends one back, she asks Tigger, “What does this mean in English?” Tigger says “Laughing my butt off.” He asks her, “What did you say?” She replies, “I told him you were crazy.”

So I never did reply to Tre. I am thinking about sending him a reply, “Hi, I’m Drill Bit.” I think I will wait and see if he sends me another text message.

I took this picture with my cell phone yesterday. I got this sweater from Macy’s on clearance sale.

We used too much chocolate in the cocoa yesterday. M and I put fat free half and half in ours. The kids drank theirs straight. Even Gwen who says she doesn’t like chocolate.

Oh and I downloaded the add-on to make tinyurls. It is pretty fun.

Hi All.

Stitch passed his test. Then he hurt his foot so he couldn’t drive. Tomorrow when he gets home from college he is driving my car home from the train station. He is nervous, more nervous than me and its my car.

I had a melt down the day M came home from Florida. I don’t think anyone noticed. Maybe Tigger, but I don’t think he grasped the significance of it. I took Stitch to get his hair cut and to lunch, and had to pay for it myself so I was upset. While we were gone, D took Tigger and got him an orange enV. So when we got home Tigger got in my car before I got out, took the phone out but I didn’t notice it was an enV. So then he called me stupid, which got me upset. So I texted him, so I’m stupid leave me alone. After a couple of texts saying the same thing, he got the idea I was upset so apologized. But by then I was under my blankets bawling.

I had to take out two books from my list because I have not finished them yet but have finished other books.

How Now Brown Cow.

I get tired sometimes of trying to think of titles for my posts. I went to the gym today, well M and I went to the gym. Then we went to Panera for hot cocoa. We also went out in service today. Only for 30 minutes. If I made New Years Resolutions I would make one to go out in service every month.

This evening when I came downstairs to go to bed my phone starting going off. M, Tigger and Tigger(with D’s phone) sent me text messages all at once. They thought it was hilarious. They also blamed it on Sassy.

Well, now I am going to bed.

More stuff

I should not be typing this, I should be getting ready for bed. But here goes, my little black notebook split, because I ripped some pages out, so I had to glue it, boo hoo.

I have been posting on BT and a couple of the women and I have agreed to meet for lunch in Manhattan. Details to follow.

Tigger got his own cell phone, D activated his old one for him and he texted M’s nephew and now he is not going to text me anymore – boo hoo! YAY! He can also play music on his phone and so he used my computer to download his tunes into his phone. M told D that if Tigger goes with D tomorrow he is not to text us all day. Just because we have free texting, doesn’t mean we want our mailboxes filled up!

Well, I am going to post this then get ready for bed, I still have a few things to do first.

Home today

I was not feeling at all good yesterday so I decided to stay home today and completely recover. Besides that it is COLD! Yikes. Poor little Amy is freezing her tires. I think I will have to drive her later, or at least turn her on and warm her up.

The garbage men left a mess in the road in front of our house. M called them idiots. I am in the living room on my computer waiting for the FedEx man. I will have to leave him a note if I leave.

M mentioned yesterday she might want me to go get Gwen. I will have to let her know I am ready and willing.

M and I have been e-mailing each other. Easier than calling sometimes. We both are going up to get Gwen, that means I have to get dressed. I am still waiting for the FedEx man. D ordered M’s new phone, an enV™ by LG and it is being shipped FedEx. Since I am home today I am waiting to see if it is delivered today. Right now I have to go take care of some personal stuff.

December and its COLD!

We got snow over the weekend. I had to use my heater again.

The internet connection has been iffy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It wasn’t working all evening, I had to go to M’s room to activate my phone (this is the 2nd replacement phone) and of course I had a shadow. Now it is working in my room, so I can post here and stay on as long as I want!

I finished typing my poems so I am going to post them on Freewebs.
