Why?

So why did I come to work today? Am I crazy or just plain stupid? I wonder how bad the roads are at home, the snow here is just falling and falling like it is never going to stop. I don’t know if I should go home early or not.

I know why I came into work, I just couldn’t stand the thought of staying home and doing nothing, which is what would have happened. So I left and came into work. Now when I get home, I will probably get stuck in the yard, like always. I wonder if there is a way I can get in and not get stuck?

Home now, I couldn’t find Amita in the parking lot. Little car was hiding from me. I did not get stuck in the yard this time, YAY for me. I am waiting for Tigger and D to get done shoveling snow so I can make hot cocoa for them. Actually, M measured out the chocolate, it just has to be put in the machine and heated.

Weather

Very very cold yesterday. Very cold today. It also snowed.

I took some pictures of the puffer fish and sent them to Tigger. He loves our puffer fish. He thinks it is very cute.

I had my allergy shot and driving was bad, I slid across the road on the way home. I was so hungry. I didn’t really eat dinner. I had an asiago pretzel, a brownie, that’s all. I think I will either eat some cereal or go to bed.

I downloaded two more songs for Tigger. Yes I know, I am a sap. I paid for one and got the other with Pepsi points. I don’t mind because I usually put the songs on my MP3 player also.

I got ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ for my ringtone. I was tired of the other. Silly I know. Anyway, Tigger said I should get the whole song for my MP3 player.

Weird fish

The tank upstairs has puffer fish. Most of them died. They looked like this. One is real big and then there is a little one. I thought the big one had died. He was lying on his side at the bottom of the tank. But I was told he likes to lie like that. That he’s a ‘weird little critter’. I think he is quite ugly. Tigger thinks he is cute. I sent him this picture from my phone and he is quite happy now. This isn’t the fish in our tank, I got this from the web but he looks just like this. Puffer fish are carnivorous, I was also told they are fed frozen fish. I wonder how they thaw them out.

Tired girl

NYWEA conference this week. I am sooo tired now! My feet were sore after the first day, I got home very late and Tigger was already in bed. Tuesday, he rubbed my feet. Today they feel much better.

The awards lunch was today. Tomorrow we go back to work as usual.

Black Friday

No I did not go shopping today. I did a little online while at work SHHHH don’t tell Albany. I didn’t actually order anything I just put them in my shopping cart. My parts for my CD player should be here sometime next week. That means next Saturday I can get my CD player.

There were a couple of men on the train this afternoon with girls. At first I thought they must have brought their daughters to work with them so their wives could go shopping without them. Then I thought, maybe they are divorced and this is their weekend for their visit and they had to bring their daughters with them to work because they had to work and etc. My mind works in strange mysterious ways.

M and I went to the gym tonight. I need to shower before bed. Right now I am missing Women’s Murder Club but I really want to type this before I forget. I have already forgotten some of what I was going to say.

My weight was up this morning, I didn’t drink enough water yesterday. I think I will drink a bunch before bed so hopefully I will be down in the morning.

I remembered what else I was going to say. I cleaned the fridge at work and was totally grossed out. There was food with mold and food that just looked icky. So I threw it all out. Bob thanked me for doing it. No one that I told I was doing it thought it was bad they all said it was something that had to be done.

Tummy Tummy

We were told we could leave 2 hours before our normal time. Selvin said I could leave at 2 if I wanted without charging leave. I actually left about 10 after but had to stop at the bathroom and then had real bad diarrhea so I actually didn’t leave until 20 to 25 after. Now I really don’t feel like going to work out or eat or anything.

This new blog auto saves which is a real nice feature, considering I accidentally closed it! I also like the fact that my browser automatically spell checks for me. Except I accidentally added a misspelled word and now can’t take it out!

I went through my photo album and made of list of concerts I have been to, plays and movies I have seen. I can’t remember what else I was going to say because someone is playing with a slinky and I can’t think!

Now I remember, I finished Kiss the Girls by James Patterson.

B.T. was just down here. He wanted to download the “Happy Song”. It is in a commercial, it was the theme to the Partridge Family. So I found it for him and now he is happy, cause he has his “happy” song.

Dome Demolishing Day

Hi all. I have not been able to post from work, I got busted by the internet police and was told I was spending too much time on ‘inappropriate websites’. I know this is now Sunday but I haven’t gone to bed yet so it feels like Saturday.

I have been cleaning my bedroom. It is a major project. I am not a neat person and I have piles and piles of stuff I am having to go through.

My BF and her husband had to demolish a shed, it’s a dome actually, in their yard. I helped by getting kids out of the way. I took them to Chili’s. I got grilled chicken with a side of broccoli instead of rice and black beans. Then I had a sweet shot for dessert. They are little desserts that fit in a shot glass. A nice little sweet taste to end the meal.

Then when I came home I started cleaning again. It had been raining so I used my umbrella then I had it open to dry and the cat tried to climb on it! The only thing the dumb thing did was put holes in it.

Well I have to go now. BBL.

Busted

The appropriate use police have caught up with me. So for a while I will not be blogging from work, not that I did very much anyway and not going on WW (WAAW) or checking my e-mail.

When I was cleaning my room I found some old cross stitch projects, along with the reading glasses I bought to do them. So that helped me get over being mad.

Someone mentioned that a friend of her daughters was just diagnosed with leukemia. She is 13. I thought about Nathan and wondered if I should say anything. Of course I didn’t, why make somebody feel sad when they want to feel hope? Anyway, Nathan was 20 years ago, there has been tremendous progress made in treatments since then.

Sunday was Kate and Josh’s going away party. I ate too much.

I have made it back to Allsport. Yay for me!

Well I am going to check my WW threads and then stitch some, then go to bed.
