>My post for today

>I am having trouble posting because I am trying to play my game at the same time, and I keep losing my place.

Ok, we are having a break now. Had a very cold day today. It seems to me that the winters are getting colder here. Part of the problem was I wore the wrong coat, I read the temperature wrong on the text message so I wore my blue coat and I was freezing! When I got home, all I wanted to do was curl up and go to sleep. The cold air was also making my lungs unhappy and I had that tight feeling in my chest. So after everyone had left I took a long hot shower. After that, even with a sweatshirt and a sweater on I was cold. So I had some toast and tea and then came down here to sit under my blankets.

My awards are all handed out now. I checked some people’s blogs and there were no awards on them so I hope they are not upset I gave them one. If they want to ignore it that is perfectly all right with me.

Anyway, I need to get back to my game. I will write more tomorrow.

>Weather today

>Yes this post is not about my commute. Is that cheering I hear?

It is going to be about the weather! There was snow at home when I went out to my car, and the snow was hard frozen so I kind of slid to my car. The roads were O.K., the commute by train was as usual, when I got off the subway, the roads in the city were dry, yes no snow, rain or any other precipitation! You may think that is kind of weird, but that is winter in New York!

Then when I was leaving, I posted a Twitter update, that is was cold and windy, how cold and windy? Let me tell you, I had a hard time walking the wind was so strong, and my hands were so cold by the time I got to the Subway they hurt. Why didn’t I have my gloves on? Well, I can’t send text messages with my gloves on!

Check out my reading blog, Bella is reading . . ., some very lovely people gave me two awards! Well two people and they each gave me an award. So now I am off to pass on the honor!

>Time for Tea

>Rob at Inukshuk Adventure wrote a post about tea consumption. Then he asked if anyone else had their favorite mug for tea. I think someone else posed the question first, but that was where I read it.

Anyway, yes I do have a favorite mug for tea. Here is a picture. As you can see I took this picture after an evening of tea drinking and before I washed the cup. However this isn’t the only cup I use for drinking tea. I have travel cups that I use if I am ‘traveling’ (duh!) and I have a cup I use at work. That picture is to follow.

This is the cup I use at work, notice the two nice ladies. If you turn the cup you see what they are saying. Now, some people who know me will say that is not something I would say, however, my BFF (Em) would say that is exactly me!

I know you are probably tired of hearing of the weather and how it is effecting my commute but that is all I really have to talk about. Since this is a blog I know you can just go elswhwre if you are bored.

If I got to bed at a reasonable time I would be able to get up and get dressed and clean the ice and snow off my car and make my train. I keep hoping that if I keep saying it I will eventially do it. I was not late, but I really don't like the express although I did get to sit in a two-seater and face forward. On the message boards I refered to the weather as the three evil sisters. Snow, ice, and freezing rain. By the time I got to work I was chilled, I did remember to get some lunch so I wouldn't have to go out in the  freezing rain, a frozen thing that didn't nuke well. That is the problem when you share a microwave, sometimes you can't put something back in if it is not heated all the way through like this was. Other than that, I kind of liked it. It was 6 points, which is more than I usually have for lunch but I really should eat more at lunch time. It must have had a lot of sodium in it, I am really thirsty now.

Well, I am off to drink some water and do some work.

>stupid wifi

>yes, I know it is not the wifi that is stupid, but I don’t like saying it is garbage, as Tigger is fond of saying. I can’t get online right now, for some reason the wifi in the house isn’t working (although I did get on briefly) and the other internet connection I use is not connecting to the web. It tells me it is but when I try to go online I get that message that Firefox can’t find the server at . . .

So I am having to blog by e-mail from my phone and can’t check any of my website and invisibo friends. Not only that, but this is the only blog I can post to by e-mail, not that I have a review to post, I haven’t finished Nine Days Queen, still! Well I need to go, if I ever get online I will edit this post.

I made it on, it was simple really. I had my computer ‘repair’ the internet connection.

The weather is supposed to be really nasty tomorrow. I might not be going to work. If I don’t I will be here doing all my online stuff!

>today’s commute

>Was back to the normal crowds and was not as bad as Friday’s. First I didn’t miss my train. Second nothing broke. However it wasn’t smooth as silk, not that it ever is that nice, but we normally don’t have to change trains and this morning we did.

Of course when the conductor said we had to change equipment in Croton I didn’t really know what that meant so I asked the guy sitting with me, who looked like he would know if that meant we were getting off this train. Yes, thats what it means. Since we were back to normal, it meant all the seats were taken by the people who normally crowd on in Croton.

>Busy day

>Even though I didn’t go to work.

The first thing that happened was I overslept. I woke up at 9:30 and my appointment was at 9:45. No I didn’t make it on time. Then I came home to get Gwen, she wanted me to walk with her, well to do that, she had to do something for me. So she came with me to the library, and then we had lunch. Then we went for our walk. It was a little chilly but not bad, we walked to the library, not the one we had just gone to, the local library and back. We went in the library for a bit, she wanted to rest, I had to use the bathroom. Then we walked home, stopped at Rite Aid, I had a bit of a headache and last night at Target, they didn’t have my shade of hair dye. I didn’t want to pay the price for hair dye they wanted, so I got some Tylenol® and some Skittles® and we went home.

Tigger started texting me while we were walking. I gave him the skittles® when we got home. I drove up to Target to see if maybe they got the hair dye in, no, so I went to a couple of beauty stores, but they sell the individual dye and you have to mix your color, so I broke down and got a box at Walgreens at the higher price. and now I have no more gray roots.

Tomorrow Stitch is taking my car so I need to go to bed now.

>Second day

>of our assembly. Em had to take Tigger home because he was not feeling well. I was tired and just couldn’t stay awake. Even with getting up and getting drinks of water.

I gave Tigger the Gobstoppers, I ate all the purple one. I wonder if that is why I have really bad gas now. Or it might just be that with the assembly, I haven’t eaten good.

Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment so I will not be going into work. Stitch and Gwen both asked, “When is your doctor’s appointment going to be over.” I told them I don’t know, I don’t know how long its going to take! Anyway, I have to go to bed now. I will be back tomorrow. I am still trying to post everyday.
