>I lead such an exciting life.

>Earlier today I was watching the cat eat. I know you are just wondering how I manage to handle such excitement. But I learned something, I now know why the cat food is all over the floor. He takes a piece of cat food out of the bowl, then he jerks his head back, I’m guessing to throw the piece of food farther into his mouth, then he eats it. My thought is sometime while he is doing this elaborate ritual to eat his food, he must drop some pieces on the floor. Of course once it falls on the floor, he can’t eat it.

This annoys me, we are talking about an animal that drinks out of the toilet! Or he would if I didn’t keep the lid down, which I do because I was tired of cleaning dirty paw prints off the seat. He licks his butt, along with the rest of his body, he sleeps on his litterbox, and he won’t eat food off the floor? Isn’t that just like a man?

He was sleeping on the side of the shoe box, not on the big flat top, on the side.

>rain or snow?

>That was going to be the title of yesterdays post. The one I was too tired to write. The stuff coming down was white like snow but felt like rain, like the sky couldn’t decide what it wanted to spit down on us.

Right now I am sitting in a ballroom on the seventh floor of the Manhattan center waiting for the concert to start. Em, the two boys are here and for once we are sitting together and the boys are being themselves. They got candy and when Em asked what else they have, some random candy. And when she asks are you really that stupid the answer is, no its just an illusion.

>Paterson’s Ethics Breach Is Turned Over to Prosecutors

Messing with my Yankees! He better be careful.

>Short post

>I had a great post in mind, it is gone, I am so tired just a few updates.

The Governor might not make it to the end of his term. We are taking bets on him leaving office in a box or handcuffs.

I updated the picture in my sidebar to show off my new piercing.

I got my replacement shoes and they are the same color as the shoes I returned.

My new computer came, the boy tested it out, installed iTunes and set up the wifi. And all he asks in return is some Skittles …. and an iTunes card …. and a new bluetooth. Well I guess since I didn’t have to pay for the computer

I can’t think what else. Good-night.

>WTF was he thinking?

>Just another brief post on our Governor. I am trying to avoid violating any copyrights, so I am posting the title of the article and a link to it in ~The New York Times~ and the title is “Paterson Said to Direct Aides to Influence Abuse Case”. I can’t promise I won’t post anymore about this because as I have said before, the man is an idiot and there is no telling what else he has done to shoot his political career.

I am sure Elliot is banging his head right now.

What day of the week were you born on?

>the crisis is not yet over. Last night we discovered our pipes were frozen or blocked with snow and ice or something. Long and short of it, can’t use my bathroom or the dishwasher. ‘That is going to make getting ready for work at 5:15 a.m. interesting.’ I thought, the bathroom part, not the dishwasher.

Last night I packed a bag with the stuff I need to get ready and this morning got up, got dressed and came upstairs to the other bathroom. Then I realized I had forgotten my contacts, so back downstairs I went. Since it is the first of the month I needed new contacts, I had to scrounge around to find them, then I came upstairs and, either one case was empty or I lost one contact. Back downstairs I went to get another one. By the time I had finished all this and gone back downstairs it was late.

So we took off for the train station, knew I wouldn’t make my regular train but would make the one after, coming up the road, to the stop sign, across the intersection, blocking the road, was a police car. We turned around and went another way, down Main Street which was freakily empty of cars and made it to the train station on time for the second train. Didn’t even have to run.

I have not heard anything from home about pipes or if I got any ‘packages’. I am hoping, no news is good news, I am also afraid to ask.
