>My parents just got back from Hawaii, they have been several times and NEVER taken me. Even when they had a free ticket, my mother just made another trip. This time my mother sent me this postcard.
This is something I hate, the post office putting these white stickers on the postcard and obscuring some of the picture. I mean there is a space on the back for that! Anyway this is “World Famous” Waikiki Beach, O’ahu. I wonder if the water is really that blue.

I followed MrCachet’s advise to try removing the sticker from the postcard and this is what I got.
>Beach view look great! You Got A PostyAll Little Thing I Like
>Ahhhh! You Mom is sooo in trouble! Sending this looker of a postcard doesn't really make up for not getting that extra ticket:)
>Hi Bella, Happy PFF! I guess Hawai must be boring. Too much sun, sand and sea. So don't go there. And I agree about the stickers. greeting from Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
>Love your card, and too bad about your parents not taking you, you need to protest. I would be writing that post office regarding the white sticker. Happy PFF
>Happy PFF, Bella. I do believe the water is that blue! I agree — the postoffice needs to put that white strip somewhere else.
>The water really is that blue, and more sometimes, particularly when the sun is shining which it does most of the time, and when it doesn't there are often rainbows. Kind of hard to beat sitting on the sand, watching the surfers and tourists, and drinking a Mai Tai. Your mom is cruel! Happy PFF!
>That is one gorgeous card! I've had several cards with stickers too, but I've been lucky and they seem to peel off quite easily.
>I would try pulling the label off – soon. Most of them are easily removable as long as you don't wait too long. And yes, the water really is that blue!
>Yes, the water is a pretty blue… when I lived there and flew over the islands I was always amazed at the awesome colors of the the water… Love Hawaii…. it is an awesome place to live and visit… go sometime… you will love it.
>Thanks for your lovely comments.I don't know why I am complaining about not getting to Hawaii, I don't really like the beach, I can't stay out in the sun because of my rosacea and I hate to fly!I had another go at the sticker, stuck a tiny screwdriver under one edge very carefully and it peeled right off. I was so very happy.
