Oh Hey, I am Running Boston

This is my friend, she is a great person, always encouraging me with my running. Now she needs encouragement and money, check out the blog. Do what you can. Thank you.

Running for My Life

David Robertson is a pitcher for the NY Yankees. His hometown is in Alabama and was devastated by the recent deadly tornadoes.

On the top right of this blog is a link to Dave and Erin Robertson’s website where you can donate money to help the people affected by the devastating tornadoes in Alabama. The money goes directly to providing people with the basic necessities of life that they need right now.

No matter what team you root for or even if you don’t like baseball or any sports, please consider making a donation, any amount of money can be helpful.

Should you help homeless people? Whether you should or not, I have. I have donated to coats to the homeless and whenever I see the guys collecting for the outreach services that help the homeless I put money in if I can get to my wallet easily. Sometimes, I will put dollars in my pocket just so I can donate. Especially in the winter.

So while I help them, I don’t give them the money directly. But I do give money to programs that help them.

There are many reasons people may end up homeless and some of the homeless are children, that is my reason for helping.
