>Busy day

>Even though I didn’t go to work.

The first thing that happened was I overslept. I woke up at 9:30 and my appointment was at 9:45. No I didn’t make it on time. Then I came home to get Gwen, she wanted me to walk with her, well to do that, she had to do something for me. So she came with me to the library, and then we had lunch. Then we went for our walk. It was a little chilly but not bad, we walked to the library, not the one we had just gone to, the local library and back. We went in the library for a bit, she wanted to rest, I had to use the bathroom. Then we walked home, stopped at Rite Aid, I had a bit of a headache and last night at Target, they didn’t have my shade of hair dye. I didn’t want to pay the price for hair dye they wanted, so I got some Tylenol® and some Skittles® and we went home.

Tigger started texting me while we were walking. I gave him the skittles® when we got home. I drove up to Target to see if maybe they got the hair dye in, no, so I went to a couple of beauty stores, but they sell the individual dye and you have to mix your color, so I broke down and got a box at Walgreens at the higher price. and now I have no more gray roots.

Tomorrow Stitch is taking my car so I need to go to bed now.

>Second day

>of our assembly. Em had to take Tigger home because he was not feeling well. I was tired and just couldn’t stay awake. Even with getting up and getting drinks of water.

I gave Tigger the Gobstoppers, I ate all the purple one. I wonder if that is why I have really bad gas now. Or it might just be that with the assembly, I haven’t eaten good.

Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment so I will not be going into work. Stitch and Gwen both asked, “When is your doctor’s appointment going to be over.” I told them I don’t know, I don’t know how long its going to take! Anyway, I have to go to bed now. I will be back tomorrow. I am still trying to post everyday.

>- QUOTATION OF THE DAY –

>”If they adopt the Bush administration position, or some version of it, it is going to be a moment of profound disappointment for everyone in the legal community and Americans generally who believe that the Bush administration has tried to turn the presidency into a monarchy.”
– BRANDT GOLDSTEIN, a professor at New York Law School, on the Obama administration’s stance on detainees.

First day

of our assembly. I am waiting for D and Tigger to get home so I can take Tigger to get a hair cut. Em has already gone up to get her hair done. I have to take him up to where she is and then I have some things to do myself. Well after all that waiting, he didn’t want to go. Made me a little mad, cause if I hadn’t had to wait for him I could have already gone and come home.

Yesterday I had a horrible commute. I got on the train, it went one stop, then broke the switch, which damaged the train so it couldn’t go any further. They also delayed trains going the other way. So I called Tigger to have somebody come get me, D and Gwen drove to Cold Spring to get me and took me to the Beacon train station. By the time I got back to the train station the trains were running again. Em and Tigger had planned to go to the city so I went home to pick them up, it was now 9:00, the train didn’t get there until around 9:20 and then it didn’t leave for another 20 minutes and it didn’t get into the city until 11:30. So I didn’t get to my office until 12 noon.

Forgot to say, I missed the train I wanted to catch, the train I got on left the station at 6:50, that was the start. If I had not overslept and caught the right train, I would have had my normal commute.

After having to stand out in the cold and the stress, I had an asthma attack in the afternoon.

When I came on to post this I noticed I have had 300 hits since I started this new blog. YAY!

>First Post

>Of 2009. I have had several of my blogging friends and followers wish me a Happy New Year. I hope all of them have a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009.

Today I slept in, I was up too late with Kevin last night. He is so sweet. Saw him again today. And more time together in the future. Only after the holidays might not be as easy. Probably only see him on the weekends.

So the only thing I did today was play on my computer and go to Target for cat food and litter, and candy. Yes, Tigger went with me.

Em is back from Florida YAY! Tomorrow she and Tigger are going to Manhattan, I am going to work BOO! 😦 But on the 17th, she and I will be going without Tigger because he has to go with his dad to Regional.

>And I have to go POTTY! Be back to finish this in a minute.

Back now, O.K., I also made myself some Senna tea. I guess that will tell you what my problem has been. In addition to having a migraine this morning, going into work anyway since I was off Monday and called in yesterday cause I was tired. Had the singularly unforgettable experience of throwing up in the MetroNorth Parking lot (3x), in the process I got puke on my scarf so I had to leave it in the car, started feeling a little better while in the car, came into work and it started snowing and the wind was whipping down my neck. SIGH. Well, now the day has ended and it is 2009. I will be back later.

>Not feeling down

>Someone made a comment on my post with my poem, that she hoped I was not feeling that way on that particular day, the day I posted the poem, and no I wasn’t, I just noticed I hadn’t posted all my poems and decided to do that, so as not to overload my readers I decided to do one a week and that was just the next poem on the list.

However, when I wrote the poem, I was feeling like that. In fact, I was sitting in my closet at the very back so no one could see me, if anyone else was in the room that is, but there was no one in the room, that should indicate just how low I was feeling.

Anyway, there will be another poem next week.

>I am not doing so well

>this month. I think I have missed two days. I have made up for it on other days, but it bothers me.

The reason I missed yesterday was because I got involved in an online game. Yes I know I probably shouldn’t, but it has turned out to be rather fun and I am making cyber friends. One has been there a while and is taking me all around and showing me new fun things. Right now they are having a problem with log-ins or I would probably be there instead of here.

Today Tigger and I went to the city. He begged me. He also begged me for the change from the train ticket (I gave it to him) and some new cologne (I bought it for him). I haven’t checked my bank account to see if I will be all right. I am not worrying about it right now. I also got some make-up for me. I bought it at Saks, since Saks is on the way and makeup is the same price whereever you get it (at least the kind I wear is), then Tigger wanted to look at mens clothes. He made the mistake of looking at the prices. It became kind of a game as we looked for more and more expensive items. He found a leather coat that was $2000. We didn’t find anything more expensive then that until we were leaving, I saw a handbag that was $3000. A very ugly handbag.

Then we did our usual walk around Central Park, went to the Apple store, stopped at every Verizon store we came to, dinner at Annie Moore’s, came home.

>Fun Fun Fun!

>Tigger and I went to the mall today to watch the movie, we bought our tickets and went to get coffee, and then the fire alarm went off. So we had to leave the mall and then we just kind of hung around until the next showing. When we went in we found out that the theater wasn’t evacuated, they let us go to the later showing anyway.

Tigger, after saying he wanted to see it again played with his I-touch cause he was ‘bored seeing it again’. I would say he was a sweetie for coming with me but I paid for the tickets.

While we were waiting we went to Panera, I needed some caffeine, then to Office Depot so I could get a wall calendar, then back to the mall, roamed around some until time for the movie, and of course Tigger had to get a snack! Bottomless pit. Now home and watching NCIS, a good one. I should study my lesson for tomorrow but I really don’t feel like.

Gwen did some laundry for me that I need to pay her for. I didn’t settle how much, but I have a feeling she might not want to be paid.
