just a (transplanted) city girl

>Slept in my own bed and woke up feeling good, except for these monster blisters on my feet. I need to get back to posting so I can keep up to date with my life. I am on battery power but I should have enough to finish this. Tomorrow I will update yesterdays NIGHTMARE travel adventure.

Had a doctor’s appointment this AM. Dr. Sharma said my lung function is good. Gwen went with me and we went to Target, I had to get food for poor Butterscotch who when I got home had no food or water in his bowls and very little food in the cat food container. Then M called because they were not able to leave the building to get food so Gwen and I went to pick up their lunch. After that we stopped at Ron’s. Then came home and just vegged, oh we took pictures of the roses. I would post one but I don’t want to get up to get my camera.

Tonight I went with M to the high school to help her with the snacks after the Senior Awards. When I got home Fred wanted his present, that Gwen told him I got, but wouldn’t tell him what it was. I got him a representation of Mt. St. Helen made from the ash of Mt. St. Helen. I really have to get ready for bed now.

I had planned on getting up at 6 to do some cleaning and go to Allsport before my shot appointment but I overslept. Then I thought I would be able to get the oil changed before my appointment but then Stitch & Gwen HAD to use my car to take clothes to Fred so I didn’t have time, I haven’t even had breakfast yet and it is almost 10:00. However I should be home by noon so that should work out.

Just finished breakfast at Panera and now I am waiting for my post to WW to get sent. I will repeat it here because that way I don’t have to double type.

Good morning all. Thanks for the start up Nan. I do not have time to post to everyone I am busy with last minute stuff for my trip. I got my laundry and hair done over the weekend, today is the car and exercise and a manicure and pedicure, hopefully I can fit it all in and packing of course! I will be back later.

Obviously I sent that last message from my phone while waiting for food at Ron’s. The boys were just being themselves, unfortunately I was so hungry I couldn’t stand it. It serves me right for waiting until 7:25 to get dinner.

I have finished my packing. I am ready to go. Well, I do have to print that e-mail from Travelosity before we go to the airport, but I kind of want to go to bed. I can’t think of anything else I need, except to clean my purse. I don’t even feel like doing that tonight. Except I just thought of something else I need to take. An extra pair of contacts and my glasses.

Mom asked me a question from my sister-in-law when we were on the phone and then tonight I got an e-mail from her asking the same question. I answered her e-mail just in case me or my mom forgot something. Now she will have too much information. I am so nervous about going.

>Yes REALLY, I have been feeling so bad, I completely forgot what weekend this was, my weekend to feel bad. Yes that weekend. Anyway, I managed to watch NCIS, had to restart it several times. But I managed it and it was a sad episode. And the team is split up. Well, Abby, Ducky and Palmer are still there. Abby has a really cool ringtone for her phone. Now I have to go take care of laundry.

I am sitting here, well I shouldn’t say sitting here, I am sort of reclining waiting for laundry to be done. Gwen’s laundry in the dryer and mine in the washer, anyway, the dryer just buzzed so I have to go.

Day is over and I have to go to sleep. Lots to do tomorrow, Tuesday I leave for Washington. I am taking my laptop with me but don’t know if I will be able to post from my parents house. I will be sending e-mails from my phone of course. Tigger said he was going to send me text messages all day long. We will see, M was threatening to take away his phone because of his recent behavior.

After the meeting M took the kids to Allsport so she could work out and they could swim. She called me to let me know they were coming home and did I want to go to the grocery store with her, D got home before they did, so M told him we were going to the store to get stuff to go with the chicken. Tigger wanted fries, for instance, so M had to get them. He said “OK”, well actually he kind of grumbled it, then we got in the car to go. M says, “Men pout a lot.” Since I don’t have a man, I didn’t know what to say, so I just went UH huh. So now, I am going to bed. Bye Bye

>until we leave for Washington, and I have so much to do. Today I want to get my hair done and the oil changed in my car. Monday is my allergy shot appointment and I want to get a manicure maybe also a pedicure. Writing it down it doesn’t seem like a lot but you know how a few things can become complicated and time consuming. Mainly because I don’t live in a vacuum and there are other people who mess things up!

Right now I need to get moving, I think this pain in my head is sinus related, at least I am stuffed up enough. I also stayed up way to late reading last night. At least all the books I got from the library are read.

M got me a Marvin doll, so now I have something to take on the plane with me. We are leaving soon to take Stitch to tutor his friend, and M is dropping me off to get my hair done. I probably won’t get my oil changed today, but I do have Monday since I am just going to the Mobil station not anywhere I have to make an appointment.

The pain in my head as dulled from wanting to slam my head against the wall to just wanting to tap it against the wall. I need to go to bed, unfortunately I laid down so now I am not tired. I also need to go over my Watchtower soon. My hair is now nice and even and even colored! It looks good. I now have a bigger list for Monday. I got a new pair of capris from Penney’s. Not trying to get to many clothes but need some that fit. OK I am going to go now, I missed the season finale of NCIS and it is on the website right now.

>I heard people leaving and thought I was in real trouble, I grabbed my phone, is was 4 something, then I remembered today is Fred’s field trip. So I have been up since about 4:10, that is what time it was when I first looked at my phone. I have to go to work now, I will see you later.

The shortline bus drivers are on strike, this I know, I might have to start taking an earlier train, but what I find unbelievable is the number of people on the train has increased but the number of cars in the parking lot has decreased. Of course since I park in permitted parking it kind of sort of makes sense, people coming over from SL wouldn’t have permits.

So M is sending me text messages from the amusement park they are at. They are funny, I will share them with you later.

I went to my new favorite place for lunch, I found out I am not the only one who knows about it. This time I went straight there and ate lunch I brought from the office. I didn’t send any e-mails from there today because of the other people that were there.

The FOIL’s that I was planning on doing Monday and forgot about I finished today. I also inputed all the output reports I got and filed all the DMRs. I am leaving Tuesday! OK I am trying to get myself excited about this.

I need to get some sleep, I want to do a lot tomorrow.

The text messages M sent the first one said, “I want you to know I am NOT FAT”. I replied she didn’t need to send a picture of that, she replied to me, “It wouldn’t fit on my phone.” I showed them to Tigger he just kind of smiled at the first one. At the second one he cracked up.

>So I had a message all typed out using my AOL e-mail account and it wouldn’t send, I got a message to go to such and such and do the puzzle on my desktop to unlock the account. Duh! If I could use my desktop I wouldn’t be using my phone! 😛

Funny thing with my keys happened this morning, one of the store membership cards got stuck between the sticker on my keyring and the metal part the sticker was stuck to! I have no idea how that happened, I pulled it out and restuck the sticker and so far it is staying.

Someone told me that someone else is not sleeping because of me, I think this person need some serious psychiatric help, or some good drugs. I can’t believe that he is so upset about this blog that he is not sleeping. I just wish he would shut up about it.
