>I meant to post this yesterday morning, well I will be quick, he has started coming downstairs in the morning to make sure I am up. Thursday morning was cold so he comes down, I am in the bathroom doing morning bathroom stuff, to ask me when I wanted him to start the car to warm up. {SIGH} Not really his fault since I have been getting a little scattered lately and not leaving at my regular time. So I tell him ‘5 minutes’, later when I am in my bedroom getting my clothes out I hear him outside, then he comes to the door and he says something, ‘What?’ I shout, he’s gone, so I grab my phone and call him, he doesn’t pick up it goes straight to voice mail because he doesn’t have his phone on of course because he NEVER HAS HIS **deleted** PHONE ON! So I run upstairs to see what he said, cause something could be wrong with the car for all I know, and he says, ‘The car’s warming up.’ {DUH} So I say, ‘I hate it when you do this!’ He says sorry, I go finish getting ready and we leave for the train station late and I miss my train.

Now, I know he has no idea what I was talking about and will most likely continue to do it even if I tell him he doesn’t need to tell me the car is warming up, I know if he says he is going to do it in 5 minutes he will do it in 5 minutes, not 4 minutes 55 seconds or 5 minutes 5 seconds. Sometimes I hate dealing with Aspie-Bipolar people! It was not his fault I missed my train, I got up late, so you see why I title this post the way I did, cause this was both.

Oh, and no one has to post a comment telling me I am a bitch. I know that. I am working on it.

>Been one of those weeks

>When one little thing after another just piles up.

  1. Got Amy (the car) inspected Saturday, well Stitch did actually. Now when Amy is in park and you step on the brake pedal, the lights come on. Also if you turn the lights on while Amy is in park, you can shift out of park. Neither of these things is supposed to happen. Also her transmission gets funky at 50 mph but only when her lights are on. That’s fine with me, I love speeding down dark roads with no lights. ~ Kidding! ~ Amy needs to go back to the garage, that leads me to,
  2. Em and D are in Puerto Rico. It is a planned trip for their 25th wedding anniversary, but it means I am driving Amy, Stitch is driving D’s van, so it has been impossible to take Amy in to get her looked at.
  3. The RD sent my request for compressed work week with a start date of Oct. 2009 to Albany.
  4. Idiot co-worker is still touching my stuff and begging for food.
  5. (This one will have Daryl laughing and saying ‘I told you so.’) My Sony Reader froze in the middle of an e-Book, should’ve stuck to a real book! Being the technologically savvy gurrl that I am, I took my earring out and reset it. Started reading again and it was fine, until this morning that is, when it froze again, twice! Same book, so this afternoon on the way home, I read a different book. No problems.
  6. Missed my train three days in a row. Got to get up earlier so I can get my new morning routine with my skin medicine down, and make it on time.
  7. The medicine for my rosacea seems to be helping with the redness, but the bumps are still here. This morning my foundation didn’t seem to be covering it. Since I was already running late, I grabbed the concealer and brush and put them in the ziplock bag with my other make-up and left for work. On the train I took the bag out, I hadn’t grabbed my concealer, I had grabbed my purple eye shadow, but I didn’t have any way to put it on so I couldn’t even wear it.
  8. The elastic on my new underwear is digging into my skin and leaving red lines.

So that is about all. Except for things that that are to humiliating too report here. You know the things that send me to my room crying then I come out and yell at the kids. Hopefully, I will have a better weekend.

>Watch the Gap or LOO HEAVEN?

>What does it mean to you to ‘watch the gap'(WtG)?

For me, a regular commuter by Metro North Train and NYC Subway, WtG means to be careful getting on and off the train because of the space (gap) between the train and the platform. You don’t want to get your foot caught in that gap or fall down through it and wander onto the other track and get killed something that is very possible if your BAC is is .3 or higher. One time on the train a little girl dropped her ‘baby’ into the gap and she screamed . . . but I digress.

Fellow blogger Brit’ Gal Sarah from Brit’ Gal in the USA recently posted about the difference between USA and UK, then she did a separate post for public restrooms, or loos (I hope I got that right), which she says are much nicer in the USA then in the UK. I will have to take her word for it never having been out of the country to use a restroom or loo except for Canada.

To get to my point of this post, if I still remember that is, one thing she mentioned that she didn’t like in USA is the gap in the door, I started thinking it had never bothered me, so then I wondered why, was it because I grew up using public restrooms here and so was just used to it? Did it not bother me because everyone in the restroom is a girl (I hope)? Or was it because I had gym at a public high school and after having to change into those awful blue and white striped gym uniforms in a locker room with 90 other girls, whats a little gap in the door?

That lead me to thinking about gym class and this one particular sadistic gym teacher.

Then, because my mind works in strange and wonderful, OK we’ll leave it at strange. I started thinking about a terrifying experience in the Ladies Room at the Tarrytown train station. The station was ‘closed’ but they usually left one door open so you wait in there or go to the bathroom. So I went in to use the bathroom, since the station was closed there was no one else in the station or bathroom. There was this man walking up the sidewalk whistling. When I was in the restroom, I heard the whistling come up the hallway, now the men’s room is on the other side of the station, which made me wonder what was he doing in that hallway, he comes in the restroom and uses the toilet. That was not the truly scary part. The truly scary part was he didn’t leave, he stood by the door in front of the stall I was in, how do I know that? When I didn’t hear the door open I peeked out through the gap between the door and the support panel. I was trying to decide if I should yell at him to get out or see if my cell phone had a charge and call the police and hope they would come when another guy came in the bathroom and yelled at the first guy for being in there. At least I think that what he yelled. He was speaking Spanish, but they both left.

So any way, if you want to know how truly weird my brain is, when he was standing by the door I was thinking, if he doesn’t leave I’m going to miss my train.

>No work today

>Today was a day off work for me. I had a doctor’s appointment middle of the afternoon so I took the whole day. In the morning Gwen and I ran errands, oops I forgot, that was after I downloaded about 40 free books from the Sony E-Store. We had lunch then went to Target because I wanted to get a fork and spoon for work. I couldn’t find any in with the dishes, just sets, then I had the crazy idea to look in camping supplies. There was an Eddie Bauer knife, fork and spoon in a little carrying case. Gwen saw a ‘camping’ Swiss Army tool, it has a fork and spoon, a bottle opener and little knife. She thought that would be handy for college, it is a good size, small enough to carry with her and big enough she won’t lose in in her bag. So we (I) got both. Then we went to the bank and to the library, the Star Trek Voyager DVD’s were in. Then we came home and I took a quick bath and remembered I was out of conditioner. So after the doctor’s visit I went back to Target to get conditioner for my hair.

Is anyone awake? Is anyone still reading this?

Well just two more things I wanted to say. Last night when Stitch, Gwen and I were driving home, Gwen was in the front and Stitch was in the back, Gwen started to tell me about when they were watching Anne of Green Gables, the rest of the DVD’s she got from the library, all of a sudden Stitch pipes up from the back seat, “No! Don’t tell her!” Gwen continues, “Stitch cried 3 times.

Then today, while I was sitting waiting for the Doctor in the examining room, I was thinking, “I went to the bathroom and peed before my bath, then I got dressed and drove to the doctor’s office. When I got to the doctor’s office they wanted a urine sample, so I peed again, so how come with all that peeing and no drinking, why do I now feel like I have to pee?”

That’s that’s all folks.

>I almost forgot

>the last bit of excitement from our trip to the city. They were having the annual pub crawl in my home city(B__) and things got a little out of hand, we were driving down the road towards home from the train station when we saw Police Car lights. I know there is a real name for them, anyway, there were so many, I knew some had to have come from outside B__, I counted 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 different local towns and villages and one from across the river and besides them two MTA cars and at least one Dutchess County Sheriff’s car. It was so crazy we couldn’t get through for about 10 minutes.

Found out this morning it was a fight that got out of hand because of all the drinking. When I was listening to the radio and they talked about it, it seemed like he was talking in a normal voice and shouted the name of the town. “Saturday during the annual pub crawl in B__, a fight broke out. Police responded and 16 people were arrested and the B__ Police had to call for reinforcements from as far away as across the river.” The mayor is now thinking about discontinuing the annual pub crawl.

Today I went to Banana Republic for the dress, I didn’t like it when I tried it on. I consoled myself with a pair of earrings. They didn’t have them in the store, well they had them but a stone was missing so first the sales lady looked up other stores that had them, she also said they were online, so she called and I ordered them online, which turned out to be a good thing, the price was a lot less online. More than made up for the shipping cost. So I am happy now.

>Tax day

>No it’s not April already, it is my tax day, I am sitting here with my computer getting ready to file. I am in New York which means I pay Federal and State taxes. I file on-line for the Federal and mail the State. The reason is, not only do I have to pay to file the State taxes, after they are filed electronically, I have to mail in the forms anyway and they don’t start processing the return until they receive the paper work. Kind of like how they do my expense reports. Except I don’t have to pay for them to process the expense report, and mine is being held up because I forgot a receipt and the person handling my claim sent me the request for the receipt the day before she went on vacation and no one else can process it. SIGH.

Other than that not much going on today. Em is going shopping to restock the freezer (yay) and I am just sitting around with a pain in my lower back.

I stayed home with Tigger and Gwen. We played Clue, she won one, he won one, I accused both of them of cheating. Then Gwen and I played Hangman. I was thinking of it because it was in the latest Dexter book. Neither one of us got hung, but it was close a couple times!

>sorry ’bout yesterday

>I did not post yesterday, I mean I did but I didn’t write a personal post. I didn’t turn on my computer on at all when I got home.

If you read this before and now see more, it is because I was trying to send that from my phone while on the train and I kept falling asleep. A combination of a late night and the soothing, rocking motion of the train. {HEE}

Gwen and I went to the meeting. Then we went to put gas in the car (Stitch used it all up!) then to Target to get shampoo and cat litter (and a box of whoppers, er malted milk balls, what I didn’t eat I left for Tigger this morning) then to the bank, she needed to deposit her paycheck (she won’t use the ATM in Fishkill, {Shrug}). So we didn’t get home until after 10:00, everybody was in bed, I searched through my stuff for something I know I got and now can’t find, (ARG) and did all that other bedtime stuff. All in all, I got to bed sooner than last night, but I was still oh so tired this morning. Falling asleep standing up tired.

>Write on! Respect the Blog

>Don Mills Diva wrote a post recently, check it out and if you like it/agree with her copy the link and write a post about why your blog should be respected.

My blog started as a way to keep track of my Weight Watchers progress. I was hoping that putting my numbers ‘out there’ would help me stay on track. Well, Weight Watchers is not going so good, but I now have three blogs and am having a great time. I have this blog, a blog for books and a blog for crafts. Blogging is like a door to another world.

This has become my outlet for my thoughts, and that is all I ever wanted it to be, if you were to read my diary it is about the same. Nothing is too personal, that is still saved for my diary that is hidden in my . . . Well never mind I am getting off track. I don’t have a degree in journalism, or any degree for that matter, no one who tells me they like my blog goes on to ask, BTW Do you have a degree? Most comment on how beautiful my blog is, that makes me happy, probably the artist in me that wants everything I touch to be beautiful.

So merely the fact that I am a human being with feelings, this is not a computer stringing words together, I deserve respect and by extension so does my blog.

Thanks for listening.

>**Update**

>I got lost in Brooklyn. After leaving work early, I took the subway and went out the wrong exit. I found the Sands building and the building on Adams St, but had no idea where in relation to those two buildings the building I wanted was. After wandering around for a while I then got worried that I wouldn’t find my way back in time to catch my train. Well, I headed in the right direction, for a change and found a subway station. No. 2 train so I was set.

When I got to GCT I treated myself to a non-fat latte, an everything bagel with butter and a bottle of Armani Code. I was attracted to the bottle, it is more purple than blue in real life. But the smell is almost like a man’s cologne. I like it and am going to wear it tomorrow.

When I got home, I found out the Gwen was aware I was kidding. The girl who never gets jokes. Anyway, I am not mad at her because (a) it was not really her fault and (b) she is taking me to see Phantom! I have only wanted to see it since forever. Well, I need to sleep. I am getting a headache sitting here and looking at this computer screen instead of my eyelids. Speaking of headaches, Tigger has had a migraine for two (2) days. Poor thing.
