This is another postcard sent me by a friend on vacation. This was a girl from my church who is the same age as me. She went on to marry Em’s brother.
I don’t know why I blocked out my address, since no one in my family even lives in the state of Florida any more. Just habit I guess. One interesting fact, if you look at the dates, she mailed this on August 3rd, I received it on August 23rd. In fact, I called her and said, “Guess what? I got the postcard you sent me from Spain today.”
>That is interesting! It sure did take ages for it to reach you:) Are you still in touch with Tammy? Postcards spark such wonderful memories!! happy PFF!
>That is really slow mail.
>Lovely Postcard! Happy PFF!
>ohhh Barcelona!fabulous place and beautiful postcardhappy PFF xx
>Oooo Spain…it's on my list of places to visit! This is my first PFF and I am really enjoying visiting everyone. You have a love blog, I've enjoyed it!!!everything vintage
>What a lovely memory and a great postcard…but then again, I find nearly every postcard to be great! 🙂
>Howdy Bella Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories today.Happy PFF :)What a beautiful place to visit. My parents visited Barcelona years ago .I'll have to find out if they still have any of their old postcards.Blessings of joy to you .Have a fabulous FridayHappy Trails
>It's so great that you have this from all those years ago, and better still that you remember the details of when it arrived. That's why I like collecting family postcards.
>Postcards are notoriously slow. I think the postcard fairy purposely holds them until she knows you are back home and then delivers them.
>Lovely postcard….Have a beautiful weekend
>Marie, Sure did, no I am not in touch with Tammy anymore, as we got older I realized she was self-centered and shallow, as opposed to me who is self-centered but complex. LOLPostcardy, very slow.Beth, Marina, Jodie, Kirby & Robin: Thanks!Terry, thank you and your welcome. I enjoy having the memories.Sheila, I don't remember the details of all the postcards, but the postcards help me remember the people who sent them. :)Mandala Michelle, you may be right, I have sent packages to Brazil that get there in 5 days.
>Such a beautiful card and wonderful memories. thanks for sharing.debby
