>Feel – Robbie Williams

>

>made it to allsport

>I had been planning to go all day. Then I went on my game, just for a few minutes, and someone started talking to me, then when I was almost ready to leave my boyfriend came online so I stayed a little longer, I finally got out the door.

The roads were icky because it has been snowing all day. As I drove up I was afraid they would be closed, they weren’t so I got my workout and showered, of course now my legs are itching because of the dry skin problem I have in winter, anyway, I got a workout in and Em didn’t. After I went to Starbucks, as is now my routine, go to Allsport, stop for a non-fat latte. As for the exercise and WW progress, I forgot to weigh myself last week, but my jeans are a wee bit looser. That is a nice feeling.

Tigger got some songs and sent them to me, he was going to put some songs Em got on my I-Pod Nano but D was on the computer. He can do that later, no rush. Maybe when I go up for dinner, which will be soon. Speaking of Tigger, he knocked on my door and asked if I could help him. When I opened my door, the cat was on his back and he was bent over, so I pushed Butterscotch off him. He and Stitch will not stand up when the cat is on their back. They are afraid he will scratch them. Silly boys.

>No church today.

>Canceled, probably because of the snow. I don’t know for a fact because I have not been upstairs yet.

Last night when I plugged in my I-pod to add the song Tigger bought, I-tunes said it had an update, so I downloaded it, then the computer said it need to restart so I said O.K., well the computer froze on the restart. I had to unplug the laptop and wait for it to shutdown, I turned it back on so and it was still frozen! So I unplugged it again, it turned off, I waited an hour, still frozen. So I unplugged it and left it over night. As you can see, it is working now but when I woke up this morning I was a little unsure about turning it on, when I did, I got the frozen screen said Oh No, then it went off and the computer finished the start up. I should remember from now on, to shut down the computer, this has happened before.

So now I am just sitting here blogging and listening to the radio, I just combined Tigger’s station with mine. OK, I don’t really like this song, but its not horrible. I clicked ‘I don’t like this song’ once before and I got this cute message, “We’re sorry! We’ll never play it again.”

Anyway, I forgot to check back in with Weight Watchers message boards so I need to do that now.

>Made a mistake.

>

I have to correct a prior post, this information is from the NY Times website, section On This Day.

On This Day in History Monday, December 08th

1980 Rock musician John Lennon was shot to death outside his New York City apartment building by Mark David Chapman. The former Beatle was 40.

They’re going to kick me out of the fan club for this.

>Lazy day

>I woke with a tummy ache. Not bad, but I didn’t feel like getting up, so I stayed home and I am posting this from my bed. Since I haven’t been up, I don’t have much to say, but I have to get up and do some cleaning, maybe some laundry and run an errand. Tigger ate all my Skittles® and SweeTarts®, so I am thinking maybe I will go up to Target. I have limited funds since I don’t get paid until tomorrow, but since I didn’t go to work today, I can spend the $10 I have left on candy.

As I type this I am listening to the radio, on my computer! I put in a band I listen to, so they played a song by them, then the next song, by a different band, that I also have the album! I thought that was kind of neat. So far I have liked every song they have played. You can rate the songs so it ‘customizes’ the songs played.

Anyway, I should get moving since I have to pick up some books from the library, except I changed my mind about reading them. I should also enter the books I got from Pam and Aggie in Shelfari(they are still in boxes in my closet) before I get the next shipment from her. I probably should do that now.

>Yesterday

>my I-pod arrived. Tigger wanted to come downstairs to ‘see’ it, it looks just like Em’s I said. Except it has my name engraved on it. So then he says, if you need any help call me, yeah right sure says I, well less than 10 minutes after I plugged it in I was on my phone asking him for help, and 2 more times after that! I got all my songs on it though I had to do them one at a time, add them to the I-Tunes library, then copy them to the I-Pod Nano. I brought it to work and the only reason I am not listening to it is because the ear buds don’t fit my ears and hurt them and fall out. I really wish I had normal ears.

I went to Bryant Park, back to where Em got the earrings and got the black pearl necklace to wear with it. Only Tigger knows and he promised not to tell, I only hope I don’t let the cat out of the bag. Anyway, it was $20 off and I got a free notebook. I think I am going to use the notebook as a book journal. It has a hard cover and I can stick it under my pillow and the pages won’t get ruined.

Right now all I do with my book journal is write the book title and when I finished it. Since I have started writing reviews, I want to put a little more in my journal. I think this book will work nice, since you can take pages out and put them back in. I mean, you can move them around. So if you read something ahead of something else you can keep your pages in the right order.

>Coldplay – Viva La Vida

>
This is my favorite Coldplay song. In fact, this song is the reason I keep listening to their music. I like a lot of their songs. I never realized that the lead singer is kind of cute and has the prettiest eyes!

>Em couldn’t hold out any longer

>So we ended up in Manhattan today. When Em said we wouldn’t be coming until January I knew she wouldn’t make it. Sure enough this morning I got a text from Tigger, “Do you want to go to the city?” So I hopped in the shower, then ran quick to the bank and the gas station to get Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi for Em. Then home to put on make-up and wait for Em, oh I also made myself a fried egg and cheese sandwich.

It was D, Em, Tigger and me. I was afraid having D along would ruin the experience but he behaved himself. We didn’t find the Apple store he wanted to go to but we did find the Whole Food store and I bought some of the brown rice pasta I heard about and Em got some biscotti. Then we went to find D and Tigger at Borders. Tigger and I got snacks and water and Em got a set of notebooks. This is one (I was writing this in a notebook before blogging it here). I know I am going to blog this but I have images in my head that will be gone when I get home. So she gave me this notebook so I could record them on the train.

When we got to Central Park it was dark and my head was really pounding. I was going to get a hot sausage but they were walking away. I didn’t really need it and I shouldn’t have eaten more bread. Anyway Em said she would have waited, has she ever left me? YES she left me in Buffalo.

As we left Central Park I took a Maxalt. These are not the melting tablets, they are regular tablets you have to swallow, but they are really small and easy to swallow. I didn’t like the taste of the other ones anyway. We walked back to Grand Central Terminal and the sky was charcoal gray in color up to the fog/clouds then it was white, it was so neat. The tops of the buildings were cut off.

We went to Annie Moore’s for dinner. Everything was good. I had a Glenfiddich which might not have been such a good idea after having a Maxalt. I got very sleepy, Em suggested I have a cup of coffee and that certainly helped.

Now as I am sitting on the train I am remembering I never cleaned Butterscotch’s box like I said I would, and I didn’t tell you I had $89 in coins so now I have $149 for my I-Pod, and I really hate my ear buds because they keep falling out of my ears, and the best thing about getting rid of a migraine is being able to turn my music up really loud without pain. And sometimes I wonder why, since I grew up in the country and small towns, why do I love Manhattan so much?

I know one is supposed to write feelings in a journal but it is hard for me. My biggest feeling right now is fear. Fear my plans to move won’t work out, that I might make the move but not be able make a go of it. I guess it can be summed up a fear of failure. I lived alone in Buffalo, but Buffalo was depressing, I was glad to leave it. Well the only thing to do is keep moving forward.

>Rainy Saturday

>The kids are watching Journey to the Center of the Earth, when I asked Gwen why she said, “Because its a science fiction movie with no purpose!”, I was going to ask her to help me write my account number on my quarter rolls so I can take them to the bank today, I guess I am doing it on my own.

Em is working, she sent me a text asking me to make the rain go away. If I could, I would, was my response. Of course, my phone was off so I didn’t get the message until a little bit ago and she is probably doing something where she can’t respond or the phone ringing is an annoyance. Oh well.

My only plans for today are to go to the bank and go to Allsport. I let you know if I do anything exciting. I am going to put my quarters in my account for my I-Pod Nano. I forget how much I have, $30 or $40 I think. I’ll let you know.

>Every Breath You Take

>Yes I have taken the Police earworm to the extreme. At the bottom of my blog are more Sting and The Police videos from U-Tube. I got a bunch of Police and Sting music on my MP3 player. I still have a bunch of room on it.

Tigger and I were texting about the I-Pod Nano he says he is getting for me. I want purple, after the big deal he made that I couldn’t get the purple ’cause Em and I would confuse ours, he tells me today if you order them from the Apple website, you can get them engraved for free! Not only, when I went to the website to look at them, they have on the Nano how many GB it holds! Since I am getting a 16 and she has an 8, they will be different. Anyway, I think I will have engraved on mine, Now Bella can carry a tune.

Or maybe not, no one at home thought it was very funny.
