>Time for Tea

>Rob at Inukshuk Adventure wrote a post about tea consumption. Then he asked if anyone else had their favorite mug for tea. I think someone else posed the question first, but that was where I read it.

Anyway, yes I do have a favorite mug for tea. Here is a picture. As you can see I took this picture after an evening of tea drinking and before I washed the cup. However this isn’t the only cup I use for drinking tea. I have travel cups that I use if I am ‘traveling’ (duh!) and I have a cup I use at work. That picture is to follow.

This is the cup I use at work, notice the two nice ladies. If you turn the cup you see what they are saying. Now, some people who know me will say that is not something I would say, however, my BFF (Em) would say that is exactly me!

>Second day

>of our assembly. Em had to take Tigger home because he was not feeling well. I was tired and just couldn’t stay awake. Even with getting up and getting drinks of water.

I gave Tigger the Gobstoppers, I ate all the purple one. I wonder if that is why I have really bad gas now. Or it might just be that with the assembly, I haven’t eaten good.

Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment so I will not be going into work. Stitch and Gwen both asked, “When is your doctor’s appointment going to be over.” I told them I don’t know, I don’t know how long its going to take! Anyway, I have to go to bed now. I will be back tomorrow. I am still trying to post everyday.

>I am not doing so well

>this month. I think I have missed two days. I have made up for it on other days, but it bothers me.

The reason I missed yesterday was because I got involved in an online game. Yes I know I probably shouldn’t, but it has turned out to be rather fun and I am making cyber friends. One has been there a while and is taking me all around and showing me new fun things. Right now they are having a problem with log-ins or I would probably be there instead of here.

Today Tigger and I went to the city. He begged me. He also begged me for the change from the train ticket (I gave it to him) and some new cologne (I bought it for him). I haven’t checked my bank account to see if I will be all right. I am not worrying about it right now. I also got some make-up for me. I bought it at Saks, since Saks is on the way and makeup is the same price whereever you get it (at least the kind I wear is), then Tigger wanted to look at mens clothes. He made the mistake of looking at the prices. It became kind of a game as we looked for more and more expensive items. He found a leather coat that was $2000. We didn’t find anything more expensive then that until we were leaving, I saw a handbag that was $3000. A very ugly handbag.

Then we did our usual walk around Central Park, went to the Apple store, stopped at every Verizon store we came to, dinner at Annie Moore’s, came home.

>Fun Fun Fun!

>Tigger and I went to the mall today to watch the movie, we bought our tickets and went to get coffee, and then the fire alarm went off. So we had to leave the mall and then we just kind of hung around until the next showing. When we went in we found out that the theater wasn’t evacuated, they let us go to the later showing anyway.

Tigger, after saying he wanted to see it again played with his I-touch cause he was ‘bored seeing it again’. I would say he was a sweetie for coming with me but I paid for the tickets.

While we were waiting we went to Panera, I needed some caffeine, then to Office Depot so I could get a wall calendar, then back to the mall, roamed around some until time for the movie, and of course Tigger had to get a snack! Bottomless pit. Now home and watching NCIS, a good one. I should study my lesson for tomorrow but I really don’t feel like.

Gwen did some laundry for me that I need to pay her for. I didn’t settle how much, but I have a feeling she might not want to be paid.

>What I got

>I saw this thread on the WW message boards. So what I got today:

  1. I got the day off.
  2. I got to clean the litterbox.
  3. I got to watch the others play rail baron, the game that never ends.
  4. In a minute I will get to take out the smelly cat litter garbage.
  5. Then I will get to go for a drive. I am seeing if Starbucks is open, one of my invisibo friends said she was making a Starbucks run so now I am curious.
  6. I got to text Em, she is in Florida now.

>oolong tea

>I bought some yesterday, I really just wanted to use my debit card so I got the tea to push it up enough so I could justify it to myself. It is a very different flavor then what I am used to.

This morning I missed my train, I forgot there were no express trains today so instead of being able to take the 6:33 I was waiting until 6:44 and then I had no time to go to the bank this morning. One of the police puppies had a red Santa hat and beard on, what I thought was pretty funny was the way the dog was looking at the other officer’s cup of coffee like he wanted some. A man came over to take the dog’s picture. He was a very pretty dog. Then when I got to work I realized I had forgotten to get oatmeal, I don’t when I will be able to now since tomorrow is Christmas and I have to go to work on Friday. I will probably just take some of Em’s to eat.

Brian sent me a reply to my picture. Said he would have liked to have been on the other side of the camera and something else I’m not going to repeat. 🙂 My profile pic is one of the pictures I sent him. He is good for my ego, he thinks I am pretty.

>Saturday Saga

>Book study was canceled this morning. I stayed up late working on my blogs, which are now complete, new blogs made, old blog post exported in and all my widgets in place. Anyway, I slept in this morning, till Tigger came and knocked on my door. Well, I was awake, just not up. Em wanted to borrow my train, no that’s not correct, she wanted to use my tickets so she and D could go down to the city, he’s back from his business trip. They didn’t go, they decided Harold Square would be too crowded.

I went to the bathroom, like I do every morning, and I felt water dripping, I thought it was the sink, then I realized the toilet was overflowing(ew ew ew!), so I grabbed my plunger and started plunging and it fell apart, literally, after the water went down there was a big piece of it in the toilet. I went upstairs to get dirty towels to soak up the water, Tigger had to come down to help me because I didn’t have my contacts in and couldn’t see where the water was. He came down to help which including carefully stepping in the bathroom to grab my glasses for me, the pair that is normally in my bedroom was not there. We got the water mopped up and I then mopped the floor with my lavender floor cleaning stuff and put the towels in the washer.

I knew I had to get a plunger, I really didn’t want to go out by myself so I asked Tigger if he wanted to go to the Verizon Store so he went with me. I left him at the Verizon store to get a fat free latte and cookie, then we went to Home Depot. We found a shovel that expands that will fit in the hatch of my car and looked at ice scrappers (didn’t like any of them) then went looking for plungers. There was one aisle that was closed for ‘safety reasons’ and guess what down that aisle? Yes the plungers, so we walked down the aisle and asked if we could get the plungers and the man said yes (I was glad, he was scary looking!) then as I was getting one, Tigger said, “You don’t have to get the cheapest one.” It was $2.98 plus tax, and they only had one kind. Then when we went to leave, the man had pulled the adult baby gate (seriously! it looked like a baby gate only adult sized) closed so we couldn’t get out(He did let us out). Tigger said, “He locked us in, and he is scary looking!”

Then we went to Lowe’s to see if I could get an ice scrapper there. The traffic was unbelievable. Tigger waited in the car. They didn’t have exactly the scraper I wanted, but I got this really cool snow brush with a scrapper, it is really long and I will be able to clean the top of my car off with it. I did get a scrapper, it looks like it will do the job. Then we came home. But that’s not the end of my ‘Saturday Saga’.

When I came in my bedroom and turned on the light, it burned out. So I had to go upstairs to get a light bulb and turn replace the bulb. Then I went to flush the toilet and plunge it out, as I was plunging, the bowl on the plunger turned inside out, so now I had a stick with a bowler hat on it. I turned it right side out and finished the job, then I turned it back inside out and asked to Tigger to come downstairs, when he did, I stuck my head out of the bathroom and said, “Maybe you were right.” He said what and I showed him the stick with a bowler hat and said, “I shouldn’t have got the cheapest one.” I can’t describe his face, but he got a laugh out of it.

Anyway, now I am hungry, so I am going to go eat something.

>Pomegranate

>

I bought one yesterday. First one I have ever bought. I have had the juice and the seeds, but the Points Tracker doesn’t have the points for seeds just for a pomegranate. So I bought one to see how many seeds are in one. The answer is a lot. I cut it up in the sink and ended up with juice on the counter and juice on the floor and juice on the wall(!) and coffee maker(!). Not even a half of the pomegranate and I had a cup of seeds.

Herman is back and annoying as ever. He doesn’t have this blog address so I think I am safe. I am experimenting with my designs blog to see if I can start all new blogs with my new Google account.

>manhattan

>I am sorry I didn’t get to this sooner. The first thing I was going to talk about was how unbelievably crowded the train was. I doubt there was a single empty seat on it and this was by Garrison. That means of course the city was unbelievably crowded. It was like those commercials you see where there is just a wall of people walking at you, except none of these people knew how to walk. I was ready to tell them to get out of my city.

We had lunch at one of these metro cafe places and went to Strawberry Fields, of course there were a lot of people there, well you can see by my picture. I also took pictures of the Dakota, you can see them in the slide show I put on my blog.

We went to the Empire State building but when we got up to where you bought tickets the line was huge. We went to our favorite dinner place then to GCT for some shopping. I found a book for Em that was a history of Manhattan and she got me a pocket calendar. The boys got a book with cat pictures and funny captions.

They both passed out on the train.

>First Day

>of the last month of 2008.

I think I am allergic to lamb. We had lamb chops last night, and I didn’t like them. OK that’s fine, but I got a really bad stomach ache from them, not a normal stomach ache a hurting needles in the stomach, stomach pain. Since I am allergic to wool, I guess it isn’t too much of a stretch to be allergic to the meat of the animal too.

Last night I was bored and so I went to Barnes & Noble, fatal mistake. Fatal to my budget that is! I bought three books. Two were on my list so that is ok, the other one, well, it was interesting looking. For the titles, check out my blog: Bella is reading.

Em sent me a text to tell me there was a bomb scare/threat at the H.S. and the MTA puppies were there. Nice puppies! Big teeth. I asked her if they bit anybody and she said no, they just sniffed the lockers while everyone waited outside. Dogs have the best jobs. I bought the oil for her friend and sent her a picture of the bottle. This is what my day consists of!

Cookie sent me an e-mail saying she likes drivel, keeps her mind off sad thoughts. I should have told her, if you want drivel, read my blog!
