Things I’ve forgotten

I keep forgetting to post things. After all this is supposed to be all about me right?

First off, I have made it to 2,000 visits. I would like to thank all my readers for making this moment possible. I even have a little tear in my eye, no wait, that’s an allergic reaction, sorry.

Second my little teapot came and I am so excited! I like it because it is cute and the strainer is a fine mesh so the tea doesn’t end up in the pot like my last teapot with a strainer included. The person who first blogged about it said it didn’t leak when you poured, which I didn’t really believe, I’ve never had a teapot that didn’t leak. Well she was right, it doesn’t leak! I posted a picture of it on Facebook and guess what? Now Em wants one! So I am not sure if I should get her one, or just send her the link. Decisions Decisions.

>Lost & found

>On December 10 I lost a silver ring and an earring. I know the date because I posted it on Facebook. The ring is pictured at left, which probably tells you how the story ends, but bear with me it is kind of interesting.

December 11th I was in Time Square at the AT&T store to meet Joe Girardi. I didn’t bring anything to sign, I didn’t know I was supposed to and no one knew if there would be anything provided to sign. I had my Yankee backpack, I started to empty it so Joe could sign it. In the very bottom I found another silver ring I had lost. This ring is a pinky ring and has two hearts joined together. I stopped wearing it cause it is too big for my pinky even though I bought the smallest size (Bella the tiny handed princess). I thought, “December is turning out to be a good month, I meet Joe Girardi, I am going to see Rob Thomas and I find my ring.”

Yesterday the month got better. See my gloves? Don’t worry all you moms out there, the glove has a little mitt that covers my fingers. I was going to lunch and decided to wear them since it was cold and I was going to be carrying something and wouldn’t be able to put my hands in my pocket. As I put the right one on, I noticed something silver pop out of the finger, I searched around my cubicle, didn’t find anything. Then I looked in the bag I had just taken the gloves out of and ….. there in the bottom was my ring! Yes the ring pictured above. I was so happy, I love that ring. Still haven’t found the gold earring.

>New month, new start

>I kind of just gave up last month, now it is December and I have renewed my commitment to post every day. Even if its a short post, like this is a short post. I also rejoined Twitter. I don’t have a widget yet but if you search for Bella Foxx you’ll find me. In other news Em has been in Florida since last Thursday and it is driving me crazy! And the kids are losing their minds! But she comes home tomorrow and has been keeping track of us on Facebook.

Blogoversary and new picture

2 days until my blogoversary. I was going to have a contest and giveaway, but I lost track of time, November has never been a good month for me so I didn’t do anything. I might be able to have cake though, …

On another subject, I was thinking how I still had the same picture on Facebook, so I changed it to this picture. I kind of got this by accident, I just held up my cell phone and snapped it. The angle and composition turned out really nice, I like it. After putting it in my Facebook profile and Twitter, I decided it was time to change the picture on my blog too. So here it is, don’t know how long it will stay.

You can see my new lipstick that I tried to get a picture of before.

>We left for Buffalo between 4 and 4:30 this a.m. Yesterday I rented a Dodge Avenger so we could travel in comfort. So it was pitch black when we left and pouring down rain. Does it seem to anybody else that it is always darker when its raining? Well yeah cause the rain clouds block the stars and moon! Besides that, I firmly believe that Dodge vehicles are not designed for short people, my reason for believing that is I could not see over the hood of the car! On top of that my GPS was not working and Gwen couldn’t find the right directions. Both of those problems were soon fixed. I drove for 4 hours then Stitch drove the last 4 and now we are in Buffalo.

This is what we are all doing, Michelle is on Facebook (so am I, while also typing this here) and the kids are entertaining their friend by playing Wii with him and just now they are hooking up the x-box for him. So it is almost like being at home. Stitch is sleeping poor baby so tired, he has been up since three, kind of like I have!

>Well tonight was a bust

>Internet connection was acting up all evening. I wanted to check out the MLB blogs. Thinking about starting one there so I can go on and on about the Yankees. But no time now!

There were more things I wanted to do on Facebook and I kept getting an error message. Other sites I wanted to check in on and not happening. So now I am just popping in here to say “HI!” Then hitting the sack. Don’t want a repeat of this morning tomorrow morning. I woke up this morning when Stitch sent me his text about getting up, which made me late.

So far, the Phillies are ahead of the Dodgers. Hope they keep it up.

>Hollaback is about to go 2.0!

>We’ve been working hard for the past few months with our friends at RightRides on a new generation of Hollaback. We want to create an online map where women can “Hollaback!” directly from their cell phones. Quick, 140 character stories can be submitted through three easy portals: a) text it, b) tweet it, and c) submit it through a “Hollaback” mobile phone app. Once we launch in New York City, we want to take it worldwide.

What do you think of our idea? We need your help. Click here to tell us: http://bit.ly/14Egc2 and vote for our idea to make it happen.

Once you are done with that, spread the word to your networks. Cut and paste this to your facebook, twitter, Myspace, and LinkedIn pages: Vote for Hollaback 2.0 http://bit.ly/14Egc2 then repost to end street harassment!

>Trying to catch up

>So here I am on Sunday night, when I really should be sleeping, trying to watch NCIS. I was at the concert on Tuesday so I missed the season opener and it is not playing on my computer. I am a little bit upset. If I have to buy the episode from iTunes I will not be happy.

I left all my buds on Facebook so I could watch it, well, O.K. I actually left them to come blog, I will give it one more try then if it doesn’t work, just go to bed.

>Monday monday

>It may appear to the casual observer that I am back to the present.

What has happened however is that on the drive to the train station this morning, I remembered details of my drive to the train station Friday when Gwen and I went down to the city. Like how I went to Allsport and then stopped to get a diet Pepsi when I really didn’t have enough time to. When I got home I threw my makeup in my purse and we left with just enough time to get there, then got stuck at the light because of a school bus. I was ready to scream. We made it in time to buy a ticket before the train pulled in.

Then I started to wonder are these details that would make the story more interesting, or minutia that drives away readers? Since this blog publishes to my Facebook wall, my count on sitemeter has gone down, but that doesn’t necessarily mean my readership has gone down. I know people are reading on Facebook because they are commenting.

>and with this post

>I am caught up. Today was a recovery day. I didn’t mention that sometime this week, after Tigger sent me several requests, and made a few in person, I gave them my Sims game. Then I went to Target to buy Sims2. I have played it a few times, but the family I made, which is actually just a couple, seems to have bug in it. I have gotten them to the point were they are sleeping in the same bed, but then I can’t get them to wake up! Even when everything gets totally red, they don’t die, the game just keeps running! They don’t show up in the family panel so I can’t delete them. I hope I don’t have to un-install then install again.

I was the only one who went to church, the rest of the day was spent on Facebook and other computer things. Fred asked me if I had fixed the problem with my family. I said I haven’t even been on it at all today. Maybe tomorrow night, except I have to dye my roots tomorrow because Tuesday is the concert.
