>Em had her nail appointment and I made a appointment for a pedicure, the color is off, it is more lavender then that. Getting a pedicure meant I wore my sandals which means my feet were hurting. I wanted to get some different ones from Crocs. I knew they would rub my feet but I had bandaids with me and I figured it would be easier to put them on the top of my feet then on the bottom, which is where they have to go with my red sandals, not only they, they clashed with the nail polish I picked out.

We had lunch, I don’t remember the name, which is unfortunate, since I don’t want to eat there again and not knowing the name, it could happen. Then Em started feeling ill and wanted to come home. We walked through the park a couple times. Then came home, on the way back to GCT we stopped at a store (again I can’t remember the name) where she found clothes she has been looking for at a good price.

We got home in time to watch the game, but my feet really hurt now.

>The good and the bad

>Thought I was o.k. this morning, I mean I didn’t catch the early train, but I caught the next one. Then  I realized I had forgotten my hair clips, then I realized I had forgotten my power cord for my phone. So I had to limit my phone use and even then it was dead when I got home. I love my Palm, but it eats up the battery power.

Gotta go hit the showers now.

>Time for bed

>So I really shouldn’t be sitting here on my computer, but I will not be here tomorrow. Work, then my nails, then the game. Em and I have tickets for the NYY vs. CWS at Yankee Stadium. That is kind of a DUH moment, since where else would we go to watch the Yankees?

I am also trying to catch up with my blogging posts. I have to blog every day, actually twice a day right now to match what I blogged last year. It is just an obsession with me to keep up. I don’t know why I feel like this, especially when I should be getting my bag ready for my long day so I will say good-night. I have my postcard post ready and it will post tomorrow, and then I will have to link it up later.

>Early morning punchbuggypurple

>I thought that was a better title then simply saying ‘success’. I caught the early morning train, am wearing my new earring (well, kind of have to, but the fact I was able to get one yesterday rocks) and my very annoying coworker is on vacation so I am not having to listen to his annoying mouth. That gets the day off to a good start, which I needed when I started reading my e-mails about wage freeze, furloughs and lay-offs.

When I left the piercing salon yesterday, I stopped at Duane Reade to get hair clips to keep my hair away from my ear. Typing that reminds me I didn’t get a Sports Illustrated when I went to lunch. Anyway, these stupid little clips are better then my pretty, expensive ones. Go figure.

Can’t remember what I was going to say now. That happens alot to me.

Anniversary present and new earring

Em’s anniversary is coming up soon. A while back she was talking about her next piercing. Then the washer died, motor burned out. So she was bummed, cause she wanted an iPad and a new piercing. So told her I would pay for her next piercing. D was planning on surprising her with an iPad, but that plan and to be put on hold because of a mess up with the IRS.

Today I noticed a spot on my ear next to my blue diamond, looked like the skin had come off. I mentioned to Em that I wanted her to look at my ear and I was thinking of getting a different earring at Maria Tash, she asked me to pick out her earring when I went, so I decided to leave work a little early and go down to the store and do that, I didn’t mean I was going that day, but it worked out. I ordered Em’s earring, platinum with a black diamond, and the piercer checked my ear and then put my new earring in, its a fixed bead ring with an opal. She told me it is harder to get in and out but since I don’t plan on changing it I am not worried. It would look really pretty if I didn’t have this red spot on my ear. When it clears up I will post a picture.

>Trying to get back

>To my blogging. I think the only way is to start blogging again by e-mail, that way at least something is going up. Since baseball has started up I have been concentrating my attention there. Time to find some balance.

Em and I went to the game last night, got home very late hence I am super tired right now. Add to that the fact that I am getting my nails done (regular appointment) adds to the longness of today and means I will miss most of today’s game.

On the other hand I still love my Palm Pre.

>No longer cranky

>I was planning on typing a post up Sunday, it was going to have the title, Still Cranky, cause I was. Instead of getting ready to watch baseball I was at the laundromat because our washer died. Em is upset because going to the laundromat is taking away from her workout time. Not only that but buying a new washer means she won’t be able to get her iPad when she wants. Or her piercing. Except she has decided not to get the dermal piercing because her naval piercing isn’t healing.

On me, my naval piercing has healed beautifully, its my ear lobes that won’t heal. Go figure.

It is so late, and I am so tired, I can’t remember what else I was going to say.

Good-night all.

>Yesterday

>was a slow train day. I didn’t realize how many people had Good Friday off. When I got to GCT it seemed as if there were more soldiers there then regular people. It was kind of creepy.

The office was the same and the building, since there are mainly government offices in there and the government doesn’t give off for religious holidays (well except for Christmas) everybody was there. Except my boss who took off because his son’s daycare was closed.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, sun was shining, I had my nail appointment my so my nails are also beautiful but this morning when I got up and looking the mirror, my face looked really bad. The skin looked …. yukky? I don’t really know how to describe it. I hope I’m not getting sick. Probably just because I am so tired. Yeah that’s what I’ll say.

I worked some on the bag I started a long long time ago and when it is done I plan on fixing my Yankee earrings. I ordered some new ones, different style but they won’t be here by tomorrow.

Well I can’t think of anything else to say. Have a good evening.

>Manhattan again

>Taking up space at the library while Em gets her nails done. The last time we were here, well no not the last time, the last time it rained like a bitch and we didn’t do anything. The time before that we talked about how music moved us. That is really all we do, we just walk and talk, we mix up some shopping and eating among that, but mainly, we talk and we walk. Reliving our teenage years, this time doing it right and having fun. It may sound boring, but I can’t think of a better way to spend a day then with your best friend in a place you both love to be.

Today we are going to get our piercings checked. Mine because its been a month, hers because it hasn’t been healing properly. I think about telling her, welcome to the club, I have two that refuse to heal. Both are almost a year old.

Blogger has come up with some new templates and features. I tried them out on my craft blog … problem is, I have customized all my blogs and I reallty don’t want to lose those custimazations (I have no idea if that is really a word). I just went to the craft blog on this computer and it is PINK! not the nice shaded kind of lavenderish color it was at home. I don’t have the old template here (duh) so I will have to wait to get home to change it back.

I have a few more things to do on this computer then it will be time to meet Em and go see Ashley. Speaking of Ashley, I have to go tweet now.

>I thought the day was improving

>

when the man sitting behind me complimented my hair clip. He said it was beautiful and he had been admiring it the whole trip.

Kind of creepy? I don’t think so, I also don’t think he was gay (well maybe) anyway, since I had overslept and missed the 6:18 and had to take the express train even though I got a seat, I was still upset. Then when I got that nice complement, about my hair clip being beautiful and he had been admiring it the whole train ride, I decided to take it as a good thing and thought the day was getting better.

I bought some fruit and yogurt for breakfast and headed for the #7 train, only to learn it was not running. There was a train stuck in the tunnel they said. I suppose it could have been worse, I could have been stuck in that train.
