>I had some clever thoughts to post today and I missed it, it is now tomorrow. And I was tagged for a picture but I can’t think to do it. I really should just forget it all and go to sleep. The problem is, the tag is from Marta’s Meanerings, and it is a picture tag, if you click the link you can see, my problem is, I don’t have 5 photo folders. I am at a lose as to what to do. So I am just going to sleep now and try to figure out something later.

Have a happy Monday everyone..

What gives you hope? Seeing a rainbow reminds me of God’s mercy and justice and that gives me hope.
How often do you get your haircut? Describe your worst haircut. Not often, every three or four months I would say, when the ends get so damaged I can’t get a comb through them is my timetable. My worst would be a toss -up between a curly red perm, and the ‘Farrah Fawcett’ look.
What’s your most treasured piece of jewelry? Why? My gold love knot ring. I have had it since before my sister got married. She has been married for 28 years. I know that is how long I have had it since I stole it off her dresser (LOL). And that is why it is my most treasured.
>I found this on JonJon’s …a Dedication of Love… a very lovely blog you should check out. This is a meme and for it check out Manic Monday.
What do you do to make yourself feel better when you are sick?
Depends on what I have, but I usually have a cup of tea, sometimes with honey and lemon, then take a nap.
What is the most amazing weather you’ve ever seen?
One winter here, in New York, we had almost no snow, until April 1. Then we got pounded, people lost power for up to two weeks.
Do you listen to music or talk radio in the car?
Music, I hate talk radio.

Today’s question: Series. Do you collect any series? Do you read series books? Fantasy? Mystery? Science fiction? Religious? Other genre? Do you use the series feature in LT to help you find new books or figure out what you might be missing from a series?
In order, Yes, Yes, No, Yes, Yes, No, Yes. I collect Ann Rule, although I don’t know if you could call that a true series since she writes true crime, but her collections of short stories are numbered. I have read series books ever since I can remember. In school it was all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys, and I think I read them in order, and a series of books that were young people biographies (probably why I read memoirs today), most recently it was Peter Robinson’s series of Inspector Banks books. I don’t read fantasy as a rule or religious, I like mystery, some science fiction and historical fiction. I did not know about the series feature in LT, I usually go to FantasticFiction or my library website has that information.

This is the first time that I’ve participated in the Tuesday Thingers weekly question. Marie from The Boston Bibliophile hosts this fun meme.
Today’s question: Early Reviewers- do you participate? How many books (approximately) have you received through the program? Have you liked them generally? What’s your favorite ER book? Do you participate in the discussion group on LT?
I joined Early Reviewers in August of this year and got a book the first time out. I have just finished it and have not as yet written my review but will be before the weekend. I liked this book ‘Hell Bent’ by William G. Tapply but since I have only got one book I can’t answer the favorite question. I don’t usually participate in the discussion group.
>I was reading Sarah‘s blog and she left this open to whoever wanted to do it so:
Here are the instructions: What you are supposed to do…and please don’t spoil the fun…Copy/paste, type in your answers and tag four people in your lists! Don’t forget to change my answers to the questions with those of your own.
A) Four places I go over and over: to the city (for work), to Manhattan (for shopping), to the gym, to Target.
B) Four people who e-mail me regularly: Michelle, Marie-Louise, Suzie, Marcia
C) Four of my favourite places to eat: Tavern-on-the-Green (new favorite), Outback, Bug-a-boo Creek, Panera
D) Four places you’d rather be: Central Park, Time Square, Grand Central Terminal, Top-of-the-Rock (Rockefeller Center)
E) Four TV shows I could watch over and over: Law & Order (all of them), Forensic Files, Primeval, Torchwood
F) Four people I think will respond: Vickie, Sherri, Bonnie, and Jennifer.
Have fun with this!
>I was tagged! Six weird and Random Things about me!
I was tagged by Jennifer’s Books for the six quirky things about me meme. This is the first time I’ve been tagged for a meme.
The rules are:
* Link to the person who tagged you
* Post the rules on your blog
* Write six random things/unspectacular quirks about yourself
* Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them
* Let each person you have tagged know by leaving a comment on their blog
* Let the tagger know when your entry is posted
Weird things about myself, in no particular order:
1) I can not sleep without a light on and things all over my bed.
2) Even though I was born and raised in America, I have been known to occasionally use British words, like dust bin, knickers and my favorite, knackered.
3) My favorite books are true crime and my favorite TV show is Forensic Files and my favorite Network is TruTV.
4) I would sell my children (if I had any) a kidney and ⅓ of my liver to live in Manhattan.
5) When I am in a bad mood and rude to people, I later tell them I have a twin and she is perpetually grouchy.
6) I talk to other car drivers, my cat, my friend’s bird, my computer and my car like I think they can understand me and then wait for an answer.
Now the question is who to tag next? I only know about 8 bloggers and most of them have been already tagged so I am tagging Viva Law Vegas.
